java.exe*32 service take 100% cpu
I have Desktop Central MSP Build 80295 installed on a Windows 2008 STD SP1 server on VMware. Now when I start the ManageEngine Desktop Central MSP service the java.exe*32 service take 100% cpu. The application runs for around 10 min then it stops. Any ideas as to why ?

One of the more bothersome issues, our DTC users frequently have to deal with, is after having selected a Custom Group, or even Domain group of computers to work with (such as from the patch management tab), they will click on one of the computers to expand the details, and if they try to return back to the collection of computers they want to work with, they are back at the start, having to again filter from all computers, back down to the, custom group or domain etc., that they started with. DC Agent install fail
Hi Recently desktop central agent has stopped installing when done manually. When pulled directly from the server and run the agent requests a batch file to be run (version 9). If I try run version 8 of the agent there is no issue and it installs as before. Has this been reported as an issue? G

Server locks up when Desktop Central service starts
I've recently inherited a server where the processor sticks at 100% and the whole box locks up anytime the Desktop Central starts. I do know that the previous owner had recently updated it and scheduled it to push out updates. Scope of Management Add Computers Clear All Option
There desperately needs to be a Clear All Option for the 'Selected Computers' section of the Admin > Scope of Management > Add Computer(s). Once you have computers in this list you have to manually click the little red X one by one to remove them. And no matter how many times you log out & log in.. Update the server.. Your recent selected computers are still there waiting for you. One of my Peers accidentally selected the entire AD OU. Now across ALL Admins we have 2,245 systems to clear from this

Invalid User Credentials after demoting domain controller
I cannot login to Desktop Central 9_1_0 patch 25 after demoting a 2008R2 domain controller and adding a 2012 domain controller. We have hundreds of workstations that we run the DC client on but we also have several that cannot be on the network. New User - some questions/problems
Hi there, we are currently evaluating DC for our company. I've stumbled across some problems and questions in handling, so maybe you can give me some hints: Test in columns sometimes gets cut off really bad, so i.e. in inventory - I can see OS version "Windows 7.." but not the "...SP1 (x64)". Apparently all column width seem to be fix. OK, they expand a little bit, when I remove columns from view, but still some are way too big while others too small. Is there any possibility to change (and save)
Live Chat broken in 91002?
"Support -> Contact Us -> Live Chat" doesn't work anymore after upgrade to 91002. Clicking on the link does nothing in both IE11 and Firefox 37.0.2. I did work couple of hours before upgrad as I had exchange with the support guy through it.
Dell warranty status failing on all machines
Anybody else having trouble with Dell Warranty statuses not being pulled automatically via service tag. Our installation of Desktop Central is new but it appears that our Dell machines are showing warranty as expired, the warranty date field is empty with a SCAN button. When clicked, no results.

Stuck at Ready to execute
Hi We got a big problem with this software, and that is that the status of a configuration is very often stuck at "ready to execute". This problem is related to both software and patch configurations. I know the computer or computers are online, they got the client, firewall accept the right port, and software/patches has been deployed to them earlier. But suddenly, it stops working. A restart of either the client, nor the server solves the problem. Here is a part of the softwaredeployment log:

Failed to install agent on XP clients.
I tried to install agent from server to XP clients. always gets the error "Unable to get the agent status. Operation timed out." or "Can not find the network name". I can access the client via \\computername And I have tried install agent manually on XP client, but the agent could not communicate with server. Please help me out. Thank you very much!

Pervention of agent update
Is their a way of preventing DC from automatically updating the agents of devices in an OU We use VDi and the desktops as none persistent in that they are deleted every time a user logs off. I would like to disable DC from trying to update the agents on these devices as it's a pointles task for DC to do and for the VDi desktops to perform at every logon. At the moment when we have an update I turn the master image on and allow that to update and then the new agent would appear on the VDi desktops.

Hi! I'm testing Desktop Central 9 on Windows Server 2012 Standard guest on hyper-v host. I'm starting to see messages in Desktop Central management interface regarding different ports. It states they are blocked by firewall. However I have them all allowed in single rule. I can see testing hosts and do all work, however these messages appear almost on every page...
Report of VM's
Does anyone know of a way to run a report through DC or Service Desk Plus that will show what VM's are running on which hosts? If no report is available, is it possible to see this information through the hardware profile in DC or SDP? Is possible or is there another product that would allow that? Database is not compatible
