Software license compliance and tracking
We have 50 licenses of MS Office 2003 Basic. I have input all the keys in the "Manage License" section of Desktop Central. The system reads there are 50 installations of the software (this is to be expected from the software scans by the DC agents), and it now shows 50 purchases of the software. The issue I'm having is there are mutliple PC's that are using the same license key. But Desktop Central doesn't seem to recongnize there are multiple PC's using the same software key as the status
Folder redirction
Hey, Currently trying out Desktop Central and I have a question about folder redirection. In the help file it says the following: "The Folder Redirection configuration helps you to change the location of the standard user profile directories to a different location in the network. So, when the user login from a different machine in the same domain, he/she will have access to his/her profiles." Automatically block non-approved applications
Hi DesktopCentral team, there is a feature that we really miss in DC. It would be the ability to automatically block the execution of any application unless we approve it.$ Currently, there is the prohibited software list. However, software in this list that cannot be automatically uninstalled are not block for execution. Windows Update and Desktop Central
All, New to Desktop Central... If it's now handling all software updates, including security updates, what needs to be done with Windows Update (WU)? I see there's a script to disable it on the target machines, but is this necessary? Will Desktop Central take over all WU functions even though I haven't disabled WU and not cause any patches to install that haven't been approved ?
Hotfix update
Everytime I complete a Hotfix update on desktop central I have to update each agent manually. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an easier way to update the agents?
Desktop Central deployment via au3 script method

Notify when Task Finishes
Once, I marked "Notify when Task Finishes" option for my Automate Patch Deployment Now , I don´t want it to send me an email everytime it runs, but although I unmark it and click Save, it stays marked and I get the email Is this a bug ? Microsoft Office Upgrade
We are currently using the latest version of Desktop Central and monitoring all of our ~200 workstations. I have an Automated Patch Deployment task configured to "Scan, Download and Deploy" Patches, but still appear some missing patches. Is not supposed that that kind of task is intended for the automated installing those missing patches? What am I doing wrong?

Server Failure, problems after restoring backup.
Server failed. Did a reinstall of manageengine and restored the database. I noticed i wasnt getting any completed inventory/patch scans for about a week or two. The agent status on all the clients stated they needed to be updated, so i did an uninstall of all the agents. I went around to the some of the machines and noticed the icon was no longer in the taskbar. So i did an install of the agents on all the computers(120) and the install fails. I checked the event viewer for details and the errors

Replication to DC DS
It seams that replication between the main DC server and one of the DS is not working. The DS is connected to the central location through a VPN. The folder C:\Program Files (x86)\DesktopCentral_DistributionServer\replication\store is empty! How can I discover if there is a communication problem? Scheduled Restart Task Saves Wrong Computer Selection
We have about eight different servers (let's refer to them as serverA thru serverH) that each have a scheduled task for restarting; these restarts are staggered out about 5min each so they are not all restarting at the same time. The problem is, it constantly displays serverA in the TASK for serverF, even though we continually select serverF for that task. Vulnerable Systems that really aren't.
I have several systems on my network that consistently show up as either Vulnerable Systems or Highly Vulnerable Systems. When I investigate the missing patches they inevitably are patches that don't apply to the systems (Security Update for CAPICOM (KB931906) on a server that has no media software installed, for instance). How do I clean these up so the machines no longer show up as blue or red?

When deploying a software is there a way to know if the software is currently being used (file opened) at a workstation and notify the user to close the application before the deployment occurs?
Bug: Page listing, defaults, and select all
Tools > Wake on LAN > Wake Up Now I currently have 58 PCs added. When I go into Wake up now, it shows 1-10 of 58, even though the default is 25 per page. Selecting 25 does nothing and still only lists 10 per page. If I go back into Wake Up Now, and select 50, I get 50 per page. When clicking into Wake Up Now, I get 10 per page. I can do a select all by checking the box next to Name and it will select the 10 PCs listed. If I change the view to 50, 75, or anything higher per page, the select all

Installed Client Software
Hi, I want to create a report that can tell me if a certain piece of software is installed on a client machine. The issue is that it cannot use from Add / Remove Programs as the program has a generic name but lots of components. I want to report on a certain executable being on a folder on a machine. Wake on LAN tool in desktop central
It won't save more than 10 computers/targets when configuring a scheduled task for wake on lan. I can add more than 10, but once I submit the task, only 10 are saved. If I edit the task and add computers again, when selecting, I can select all again and it lists fine, but once submitted, only 10 are saved.
7.000sp2.246 minor annoyance
Today I decided to add an extra IP so my users laptops can connect to a public IP when out of the office. I thought it moist logical to do this in the DC server migration settings and simply put the original name and IP in the Server IP box and my public (firewall mapped) IP in the secondary IP box and push it out to all clients. Effectively migrating to and from the same server but advising clients that a second IP is available for when they cannot see the primary IP. It will not let me do this,
Prohibited software report update - shows old data
Once prohibited software has been removed from the computer, it still shows that software as being installed on the user's computer. For example; John-PC installs uTorrent.exe which is banned. We remove the software from John-PC, but when we load up the Systems with Prohibited Software tab within the Configure Prohibited Software option it still shows John-PC as having uTorren.exe installed. 3rd Party SSL Woes
Build 70234 of DC. I'm able to enable HTTPS with the selfsigned certs and connect to via port 8383. Generated csr, submitted and received official cert (used 2048 in command line as we cannot get 1024 certs from InCommon setup). However, after copying the .key and cer, renaming cer to crt and re-starting server, I get no response from server at the previous 8383 port.
