Office365 Current Channel installer doesn't update but installs whole office 365 suite?... also where is the data stream stored while doing updates?
we have deployed office 365 (some pc's have full suite) others have selected apps only... and what we discovered if user has just one 365 app the installer installs every app of 365... it doesn't actually just update existing components.. Other thing is we manage repository locally and use group policy settings to set version and deadlines for upgrades and the source is stored locally on our servers so each asset doesn't make outbound connection and download 2 GB of data. So go ahead and sync your Software DB now (Software Deployment > Sync Application details > Update Now). Schedule Report Changes
Can you add or subtract fields from the "canned" reports in the schedule reports module? I know you can filter but would like to add more information to some of the reports. An example would be I would like to see the Patch Release Date added to the Detailed Missing Patch Summary Report.

Update IPv4 settings
Has any one used Desk top Central to update IPv4 settings en-mass ? We have a need to update the DNS records of hundreds of machines. I have been able to use the inventory and inventory features to locate all effected devices but we need to update them. Thoughts or suggestions?

Our WAN Circuit changed along with public IP - Can't figure out where to change WAN IP setting
We changed our WAN provider, and the IP address on our WAN circuit has changed. DesktopCentral is still looking for the old WAN IP address, even though I have updated our FQDN for the server on public DNS. The 'DC Server Sec IP Address' setting is coming up incorrect in the troubleshooter. Does anyone know where this can be changed to point to our new correct WAN IP?

Hi, we have an application that can be only installed under the user profile. But we cannot deploy this with a Desktop Central "per user" Installation or Custom Script, since our users logon to multiple computers within certain period. So what I need is an Installation or Custom Script configuration that would only be applied for a short period for a confined scope of computers (custom group) BUT has to run once as the user logs on to this computer with his/her credentials. SQLServer2014-KB4019091-x64.exe keeps failing to install although Windows Update says it is not needed....
Desktop Central keeps telling me my server, port-svr-cfm needs the patch SQLServer2014-KB4019091-x64.exe, however, if you do a Windows Update scan on the server itself, it is not needed. If I try to install it on the server, it keeps failing with Unknown Error. Code : -2068643838. This is causing the server to stay in a Vulnerable state, making our reports for the month wrong. Scheduled report on patch configurations deployed
We have a few technicians who deploy patch configurations to our server environment which i have created as a separate remote office for security / roles. A few technicians move some configurations to trash due to failed install or retry etc before i can oversee what went wrong. I check the Audit Log Viewer and check Trash for these configurations. New Install on Server
I did my evalution of the trial product on my local computer. Now when licensed and on the Server, I do not see the 25 computers that have the manageEngine agent from the Trial version. Do I need to go in onto each computer and remove the trial agent and let the Server install take it from there? Is there a way to remove or change the agent using DC on those 25 computers ? I'm thinking there is, I just need a nudge!!

Windows XP Patch Deployment Fails
I am hoping someone can help me. After my most recent patch to 10.0.91, I can't seem to deploy patches to any of my Windows XP machines. I have no problem sending patches to my Windows 7 machines, only with the XP machines. In the console it sits at ready to execute indefinitely and if I drill into the execution status it sits at yet to apply. Deployment Target filtration is not working Properly
Hi Team, I have a custom dynamic group(TestGroup) which contains computers from 10Local/Remote offices. Now I have a requirement to copy some content to computers from 3 remote offices and those computers also belong to the TestGroup. Please let us know how to do it. I have tried the below steps but did not work. 1st: Selected the 3 Remote Offices 2nd. Selected the dynamic group (TestGroup). Ideally, it should work as per logic but it is not working. How do I change automated reports' "Regards, Desktop Central MSP Team" signature?
Under Reports > Schedule Reports, I have a weekly report that sends PDFs to clients and has a short message in the e-mail. However, at the end of the e-mail it says: "Regards, Desktop Central MSP Team." Is there any way I can change this to something else, or delete it entirely?

Hitting major snag applying latest patch to desktop central.
This will be the first time trying to apply a patch to desktop central with the failover service enabled. If you stop the service on the main server and try to apply the update you will get an error that the failover service needs to be stopped. If you stop the failover service you will get an error saying that the failover service needs to be reachable to apply the update. After finding this out, our primary server will not start anymore. running off the failover now. I tried reaching out to support
