Software Deployment - Intel-SA-00075-console (help)
- What am I trying to accomplish? I would like to automate the detection and mitigation tool so I can deploy the tool to multiple machines using manage engine.
- What is the problem you are having? No matter which way I enter the string inside the box that indicates (Installation command and switches/arguments.) the status of the deployment will get stuck at (retrying/ready)
1. I've added the exe in the (upload files box) which is Intel-SA-00075-console.exe
So inside the
(installation command and switches/arguments box) below are some of the variations I've tried.
- START \\a_folder_named_something\Intel\"Intel-SA-00075 Detection and Mitigation Tool"\Intel-SA-00075-console.exe -f -writefile
- \\a_folder_named_something\Intel\"Intel-SA-00075 Detection and Mitigation Tool"\Intel-SA-00075-console.exe -f -writefile
- \\a_folder_named_something\Intel\"Intel-SA-00075 Detection and Mitigation Tool"\Intel-SA-00075-console.exe
- msiexec Intel-SA-00075-console.exe
- msiexec Intel-SA-00075-console.exe /S
- Intel-SA-00075-console.exe
- All of the above did not work.
- Any ideas?

I created this batch file for testing and it does work just not in manage engine software deployment.
START \\a_folder_name_something\Intel\"Intel-SA-00075 Detection and Mitigation Tool"\Intel-SA-00075-console.exe -f -writefile
