Connection pool monitoring on Jboss 4.3
AppManager is monitoring my Jboss instance but is not showing the complete list of connection pools in the display - it only shows transactional or XA datasource types. no-tx-datasource is not monitored. Any ideas?

I used the ApplicationsManager to monitor MS Exchange2003 ,but i did not found Win32_PerfRawData_POP3Svc_MSExchangePOP3,Win32_PerfRawData_IMAP4Svc_MSExchangeIMAP4, Win32_PerfRawData_SDStore_MSExchangeISTransportDriver in root\cimv2 by using the WMI, is anything wrong with the install of MS Exchange 2003? or something i did not do ? please help me,thanks

Real Browser Monitor with AD Authentication
Hi Mr.Fazu We tested the RBM Monitor for this MS CRM for mainly URL Record and Playback and since this takes AD Authentication, its not working. We tried with few IE 6 browsers and its failing. can you check the logs and help us ? MS CRM monitoring in AppManager
Hi Team We have a quick query. Does appmanager team have any plans for bringing Microsoft CRM monitoring ? The entire application itself. Also, we tried adding HTTP URL SEQUENCE monitor, but since the URL uses AD Authentication, appmanager doesn't store the password and it shows all the URLs as down. EventLog monitoring entries with incorrect date?
Folks now that we've got the EventLog monitoring how we want it, we're getting strange dates in the "Generated Time" field. For example events generated today are showing up as: - Mar 08, 2012 02:17:21 PM Mar 08, 2012 02:06:23 PM Mar 08, 2012 01:55:34 PM Mar 08, 2012 01:44:21 PM Both the client system and the Applications Manager host are set with the same timezone (Brisbane - GMT +10) Any ideas? AppManager continues to monitor UnManaged resource
Even after we unmanage a resource, seemingly AppManage continues to monitor the resource and show the red dot on dashboards. I am looking for ways to deal with this bug or annoying feature, what ever it may be as it distorts the view by showing false positives. The reason for unmanging a monitor range from the resource being a cold standby to resource configuration being partially complete. Oracle login with sys dba?
Hello! We using an applications manager version 9 Build 9005. I want to add a new oracle database query monitor. Therefore I will connect with a sys login, but it dosen't works. I got a error like this: Unable to connect to Database. Error Message : ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress I think I have to connect as sysdba user. How can I handle this? John

VMWare ESX/ESXi addon behavior.

Custom SNMP Monitor
Hi Team We are facing a problem with Custom SNMP monitors. errors during monitor of a server
While monitoring a server somethimes the monitor has a problem. The messages are like these: Error # The RPC server is unavailable. Error # Not found authentication failed, please verify username and password when such error apears the monitor stay's green like nothing is going on. Is this nomal behaviour? TIA rene
Any way to schedule downtime at attribute level ?
Currently downtime can be scheduled at monitor and/or group level. Is there any way to schedule them at attribute level as well (CPU, Memory etc)? We are interested to get availability alerts for monitors during night and weekends but do not care for likes of CPU and/or URL response time during these off hours. Password seems to be changed after hardware maintenance
Hi all, we had to shut down our application manager server for a hardware maintenance. After reboot the password settings seem to have changed. It used to be the standard admin/admin. Now we cant log in wiht those settings anymore. A restart of the application doesnt halp at all. Any help would be kindly appreciated. Best regards, tommynocker82
AppManager 9 Directory Monitor
Hello I have to monitor the directory size on a remote windows (WS2003) server. DirectoryMonitor works well, but unfortunately it only monitory sizes greater than 10kb, but my size changment are in 100bytes or max. 1kb. Is there a workaround beside the use of a script monitor ? Can the directory monitor be modified to check smaller sizes ? Best regards Brian

OpenMQ monitoring?
Folks has anyone successfully setup a monitor for OpenMQ? It's a Message Queue mechanism built in to Glassfish. I've got Glassfish monitors setup and Java Monitors setup but I cannot seem to find a way to monitor OpenMQ itself (I cannot connect with either Glassfish, Java or JMX Monitors).
Cannot Create SAP CCMS Monitor in Appmanager

Alerts not triggered in one particular group?
FYI! We use application Manager 9 - recently we received an issue, i.e when alerts are triggered all groups in adventnet are working fine, but in one group recently no alerts where triggered, we checked all options, all the alerts aree configured, but we did not receive alerts, how to debug this issue,pls let me know

Stale Session
I have a site that I have been monitoring using a URL sequence for a number of months now. As of last weekend it seems that AppManger is failing to monitor some of the pages in the sequence. Based on the logs on my webservers it seems that either appmanager is not keeping the session persistent throughout the transaction or it is using old stale data. Does anyone have any idea on how we can debug this?
Execute Program Action is not working
I am using Applications Manager 8 installed on RHEL4. I have created a new action of Execute Program type. In the script there is some basic commands like echo, ls etc. But the script is not working. When I tried to manually execute it through button it showed "The action --- has been successfully executed", but actually nothing happened. is there any clue that I am missing?
No data being gathered in reports , but monitoring is working fine

When editing a database query monitor and setting the "show query output" to yes, a message appears: Unable to find the primay key for userlogin. Please use the "Primary Keys" option in that table to select a primary key and to access the query output What's wrong with my query (select count(*) from userlogin where isLogged = 1) ?

AppManager HostName cached
Hi , We are using App-manager build 9200. We are facing problem while adding IIS monitor . Scenario : Initially we were having a server name ibsasm1.x.com (x.y.x.171) . Same was configured in Appmanager for monitoring of Windows, .Net & IIS and was working fine. After that we need to use this server in another application with same ip .thus we deleted ibsasm1 from appmanager. Now , when we add the IIS / .net on (x.y.x.171) the monitor gets added but it shows host name as ibsasm1 only . however same
