How to export the user activities report of the EventLog Analyzer technician

Objective 

As part of compliance and best practices, it is essential to monitor the activities of technicians like Administrator, Operator or any user with any technician role in EventLog Analyzer. This article focuses on step by step instructions for tracking the activities performed in EventLog Analyzer by the technicians.

Prerequisites 

Need access to EventLog Analyzer console as an administrator.

Steps to follow 

Step 1: Login to EventLog Analyzer console.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Admin settings > Technicians & Roles.
Step 3: Select User audit in the top right corner.
Step 4: Select the technician you would like to audit in the Select Technician option.
Step 5: Adjust the calendar to view the activities for a specified time. (See the Image below.)
Step 6: Choose Export as and select the type as either PDF or CSV to perform a direct export of the technician activity list.

 Tips 

  • Choose Add/Remove Column in Technician Audit to add or remove or rearrange the columns as per requirement. This will reflect in the console as well as during export.
  • Choose the Search option in Technician Audit to apply a search filter on the Module and Action columns. You can also type the keyword on Resource name to search the activity based on the Technician and Calendar date selected.
 
  • Assign a custom role for the technicians who are about to use the application based on hierarchy.
  • Monitor critical activities like agent management, alert modification by technicians by configuring notification for the selective.
