How to track the activities performed by technician (user audit) in EventLog Analyzer

Objective

This article focuses on step by step instructions for tracking the activities performed by a technician in EventLog Analyzer user interface. Auditing the user activities in the EventLog Analyzer user interface offers a complete visibility on each and every action performed in the application.

Prerequisites

Administrator-level access to the EventLog Analyzer console is required.

Steps to follow

  1. Login to EventLog Analyzer console
  2. Navigate to Settings >> Admin settings >> Technician and role.
  3. To view all activities performed by the technician, select the "User audit" button to the top right corner.
4. Select the technician you would like to audit in the "Select Technician" option.
5. Adjust the calendar to view the activities for specified time. (Image below)
NOTE: You will be able to view the activities performed in this view. To view the logon and logoff history of the technician select "View technician logon history" button for respective technician. Refer How to track the technician logon history in EventLog Analyzer for more details.

Tips

  • Assign appropriate roles to technicians based on the level of access they require within the application.
  • Ensure that access controls are properly configured to enforce role-based permissions.
