Service is suspend after upgrade
There is a trouble for me as the SDP is suspend after I've upgraded to 7020. Actually, It had happened on me before when I do the upgrade to the latest version. Here attached few files for you and please kindly advise.
Upgrade from 7015 problem
We are using build 6.0.0.2 in production environment. In a test environment I upgraded the manage engine servicedesk build from 6.0.0.2 to 7.0.0.15 from a series of steps successfully. An error occured when i try to upgrade from build 7.0.0.15 to 7.0.0.16 or 17 or 20 . Why did it occured? Any help wellcome. SDPLUS 7.5 beta
I am testing the new version of SDPLUS and try to scan machines with the file ae_scan.vbs. In some machines inventory and no have problem, and others run but no one appeared on the server. I saw all of document in troubleshoot but not solved.
Problems with Mail Fetching
Hi: I'm having problems with SD Mail Fetching, it seems to stop randomly, it has happened two times this month. In the mail settings it just says "not running" and when I hit start fetching it changes to running, but when I go to another page and return it changes back to "not running". For it to start I have to restart SD+ completely. I'm using SD+ 7019 Thanks for your help.
Server won't start after update to 7020
The update said it completed successfully, but now it will not get past "Application Layer Started" in the splash screen. I tried to do an install of the hotfix but it says it is not supported.
can't associate asset, can't receive items
I tried to associate PO to asset but SD+ wouldn't let me. So I tried on another PO to "Received items", the list came up w/ nothing. How could I fix it?
Newbie... can't display expired contracts

Removing/Adding asset/business service Relationships Issues

Request Template bug?
When using a Request template that has the Group field populated, the Technician field is not constrained by the value in the Group field -- I can select any technician, where one would expect to be able to select only those technicians that are members of the group. Is this a bug or a feature?
delete a pending approval
is there anyway where in i can delete the pending approval for a request? like i have request that i sent for approval using the submit for approval within the helpdesk. but by mistake i sent for approval to the same approver twice, how can i delete that pending approval fromt he request if the approver has approved one of them ???

Mail Fetch Issues - New Tickets not being created, etc
Running 7.0.0 Build 7011 Service Desk Plus Recently ran into an issue with the Mail Fetching. There are 2 issues but they seem to go hand in hand. When an email is sent to the mailbox that ServiceDesk monitors it will grab the email, and then send a notification that a ticket has been created but the ticket # it provides is an old ticket number that has been used, and when we view the old ticket # the email that it grabbed wasn't added to that ticket, but it just seems the email goes into a void.

issue with colour of envelopes when acknowledging a reply
Hi I have using version 7015 Normally, when viewing requests you can see if a customer has responded because the envelope changes to red. We have added a notification rule so a customer gets an email to acknowledge that their email reply has been appended to the ticket. The problem is this automatic response results in a history entry in the request that changes the envelope to green! Thus we can't tell if the customer has responded..... Has anyone else experienced this? Tim

running service failure
Hi all I have a problem on running service desk 7 (last update)on windows 2003 R2. after installation it work properly but after then, the service hangup. when I check the server I can see many icon of servicedesk in tray icon that are not startet successfuly but service of manage engin is in start status in services. also it does not work after stop and start again. can anybody help me how can I resolve this problem? FYI, it was work properly before , and this is a new problem appear after update

Approval for requests
Is it possible to setup SS+ so that when a request is entered by default it has a status of Unapproved where then a manager can set it to approved so the technicians can goto work on it. I tried to set the status to default to the Unapproved one, and set it so the client cant see or set it but it always defaults to open or approved for some reason. Is there any way to make this work or a built in method?
Problem with importing asset list
I am having trouble while importing a list of servers from "csv" file . I have created a product type called servers and i select it in the asset tab and here i use the tab import from "csv" file . The result should be that the imported server list is under the product type "servers" but the imported list is not stored under the "servers" product type and are displayed as product type. Migrate MySQL to MSSQL
I'm using SD+ 7 with mySQL right now. For some reason, we have purchase the MSSQL and try to migrate the system to run under it. After that, I use "changedbserver.bat" to do the migration. In this process, I've check that all settings and tested by click the "Test" button. When I start the service, it seems hang and it keep loading in the process "Application Layout xxx". Including sub-category in Business Rules fails with error
We get an error message when we try to include "Sub-Category" in any Business Rules. Even if I build a very simple rule with only a Sub-Category I get this error. We are using build 7015. Reports on problems
When I'm running reports in SD, it doesn't give any option to calculate the total time spent on a problem (not elapsed time, but time actually spent on the project, as recorded in the work log). Can this be fixed?

Upgrading from version 5 to the latest version w/o data loss

Error upgrading from 7012 to 7015
I get this error at 98% of the proccess. I stoped the service, then performed a backup and then updated the software like always, but it fails. build 7012 to 7015. Windows server. Even when i try to upgrade to 7013 or 7014, the same erorr occurs. Look at the pic for more info.

Personal scheduled query reports
Hi, Sinc we've been moving to 7017, our scheduled query reports don't generate anymore. When we try to modify them, there's an error message : "Provide a name for the document". But all our query reports do have a name! Moreover, when we want to choose the schedule type, the screen doesn't change, as if we choose "weekly", we can't see the days of the week to choose. I need to configure SD+ to work with Lotus Notes 7.0.2 I am not the Notes Admin, nor am I the networking admin. TROUBLE DELETING OLD-CLOSED PURCHASE ORDERS
Hi Guys, I have about 50 old purchase orders, that are closed. I tried deleting them an the system blocked me, informing me that the said PO is in use by another module. When I open the Po and verify if there is an asset associated, there isnt any. I would like to delete all the PO's and start fresh since I havent used the module in a long time, and now with the new features, I would like to start. Any ideas? Regards, Paul
