Report Filter Value List Only Shows 86 Users
Currently, my requesters list is showing 92 users (this is after going through and cleaning out all the random email addresses from vendors that send to our ticketing system and all the extra user accounts from AD that are added because your system still can't be told what user groups to pull in). We've set up a report that we can use to print out a page that displays assets that are attached to a specific user. Scheduled reports issues (.pdf blank, .html not showing logo)
We are trying to produce a scheduled report to send to automatically send to our business partners, but we can't seem to get it working right when we schedule it. When we generate once, everything looks fine. When we schedule .pdf version, the .pdf attachment is blank. When we schedule .html version, we get data, but the logo we use does not come through. What information do you need from me to help us figure out this issue?
Report outlining categories and respective SLA agreements and escalation definitions
Is there a way to pull this info into a report in the software (by doing a query)? We need to have a "mapping" of the categories, subcategories, items in consjunction with the respective SLAs (including escalation response times and escalation responsible individuals).

SD+ and external reporting/BI tools
Hello, I'm working on some dashboards to create real time reports directly from the SD+ database. I'm using Tableau for this, but anyone with experience from other tools or knowledge of the database layout should be able to help me. One of the first things I run into is that I have WORKORDERID entries which are not returned when I use the internal SD+ reporting tool, but that are included when I query the db directly. Report Request - All Activity in a day
Hello - Hoping someone can help. Has a query been created, or could one be created to track all activity in all tickets in service desk for the current day? 'Location' field query
I'm trying to use the Query Editor to produce a report that includes the 'Location' field for an asset but I can't seem to find the right combination of table and column names to produce the output desired. I keep getting errors similar to this one in the 'Log' field: The column prefix 'locationDef' does not match with a table name or alias name used in the query. Can anyone help me by defining the correct table name, alias name and/or column prefix to allow my report to run and give me the 'Location'

Hi, I need to create a report as follows. Any help would be appreciated: Format – csv Requirement - The number of incidents open for the month, broken down by category, sub category and item and grouped by Team. Help with a report for Outstanding calls for a given date.
I am fairly new to Service Desk reporting and require some help please. I am after a report that will show me all the outstanding calls, (Not Closed) for a given date for a particular group. Basically this. For the 1st December 2009, i need all the outstanding calls for the Service Desk group. I cannot see how to do this in the wizard. Please help.
Shutting down a domain server (to use a new named one) caused problems
We had cause to change the domain server for one of the windows domain. Once SD+ had started it's daily scan, we noticed that it hung, and we could not gain access. if we re-booted, we could gain access for a short time, and did have time to change the domain controller it needed to use for the 2nd windows domain. We continued to have issue for some time, before it finally came right. The issue seems to be that if a domain controller is not found when it starts it's scan, it does not fail gracefully

Descriptions and resolutions disappear when saving or closing
I have had many users complain and experienced the problem myself where a description or a resolution disappears when saving or closing a request. I am on 7603 but have had the issue on previous versions. The issue seems to happen more frequently since upgrading to 7600. Has anyone else had this issue?

Reporting on re-assigned/escalated tickets
Is there a way to do a report on a re-assigned and escaleted ticket? I think this would be a handy feature - considering that most requests can be potentially be worked on by one tech for the majority of the time and then would have to re-assign it or escalate it. The original tech should have some metrics measured on his/her input on that ticket.
Attachements go blank after duplication
We recently upgraded to 7.6.0 Build 7602, and have noticed that when we duplicate a ticket that has an attachment, the attachment is blank on the new ticket. I searched Known Issues and did not see this.
Request additional fields query report
I made 3 additional fields for a form as a number type. I need to extract data from those fileds in order to make a report that calculates something. How do I know the name of those fileds in the tables? Or how can I make this kind of report? Please advice. Best Regards Denis M.
Request loses group and technician when Request Status changed via Edit Request from filtered view
If we are viewing our tickets in a filtered view (that is, a list of Open Requests, Pending Requests or some other custom view) and check to select the ticket then click the Edit Request button at the top, then only change the Request Status, the request loses Group and Technician assignment. If you look at the screenshot, this is what we see in the history tab, making it appear that the Technician actually changed those fields when in fact ONLY the Request Status field was adjusted. Reply templates
Our default reply template from a request is configured to pick up details from the ticket itself such as Requester Name and Technician. I've based my other reply templates on this same logic but instead get the $Requester and $Technican in the reply rather than the value. Can't the custom templates also pull information from the request?? Jennifer
Costing Report with Sub-categories
Morning all, I have been using the below query to report out a list of all IT/Non-IT assets including the cost. However I need to edit it to show the different sub-categories of assets. Eg. Show whether a workstation is a Laptop or Desktop. Show what is a server, what is a router etc. Then when I export the report to excel, I can filter via category for ease of use. Database is: MySQL Any help appreciated! Query below (Which i grabbed off one of the many reporting threads anyway :) )
Asset reports showing warrany expiration date
Is there a report or can one be made that shows the warranty expiry date for all laptops. The field is in the assets but I don't see a report or custom reports option to show this.
When opening a ticket then the wrong ticket opens (always same wrong one)
When opening a ticket that's new, when you click on the link in the list view then it always opens ticket 116 (which is closed). If the ticket was assigned, then it opens normally. Removing part of the URL that opens seems to help (stripping the query string all the way back to the ticket number). This is an issue occurring on Firefox and Chrome, but does not seem to affect IE.
Assigned to Technician notification not going to everyone
We recently upgraded to 7.6.0 Build 7602, and several technicians are reporting that they are not receiving a notification when a ticket is assigned to them. As I am receiving notifications, and have verified that this option is selected in the Notification Rules, I'm unsure what to do to correct this issue.
Need to be SDAdmin to create Custom View or View Reports
Hi, We have found that you need to have the role of SDAdmin in order to create Custom Views or view Reports. If you do not have the SDAdmin role an error will be thrown when saving the Custom View and when viewing a report. Steps (without the SDAdmin role): - Create custom view button - enter filter details - save - error Or - Reports tab - select report - error I know this is not environment specific as we have tried IE7, IE8, Safari, and Firefox on Windows and Mac machines.
Report request please! - Requests not updated for 8 hours
My SQL query skills are not great and therefore I'm wondering if someone can help with the report below. I need to create a ServiceDesk report to report on all open requets that are allocated to a group and technician, but have had no updates for the past 8 hours. 2 approvers - only 1 can approve the other gets only reject button.
Hi, When i making a PO and selecting 2 approvers at least the first one send the approval and when the second one logins to see the PO he can see only the reject button. We need at least 2 approvers to complete the PO and make it approved. Regards, C.K.
Report of SLA's as configured
I need a report of the SLA's as they are configured within the system. Looking through the database it seems the SLA's are stored as parts of SQL select statements that are controlled by the master SLA table. If someone can advise how all the tables hang together underneath the main SLA table I'd appreciate it, if there is a SQL statement to extract it all that would be perfect.
