Help with a report for Outstanding calls for a given date.


I am fairly new to Service Desk reporting and require some help please. I am after a report that will show me all the outstanding calls, (Not Closed) for a given date for a particular group.
 
Basically this. For the 1st December 2009, i need all the outstanding calls for the Service Desk group.
 
I cannot see how to do this in the wizard.
 
Please help.
