Servicedesk Plus and Facilities Desk on the samer server?
Hi All We currently are running serverdesk on a windows 2003 server and are looking at getting facililties desk as well. It would be easisest to run it on the same server but not sure about port numbers. If installed on the same server would it just take a different port number ie 8081? Hello, We use SDP on a Windows Server 2003 running in an VMware cluster enviroment (10 technicians) have always had a few stability issues where he had to restart the SDP service or entire server after a period of time (2 or 3 months). However, since the upgrade to 6001 it got dramatic after the upgrade to 6002 things improved. But at the moment we have to restart the server daily to keep SDP operational. Since upgrade to 7022, server won't start
Hi, Since a did an upgrade from version 7020 to 7022, my SDP server wont start. I tried to start it using the Run.bat file also, but no joy :0(. Now I decided to try an upgrade to version 7500 to see if this would help, but I get the following message from the update manager; " Already you applied a patch on this setup which has been failed". Therefore, I tried to uninstall the patch 7022, and get the following message "Sorry, uninstallation is currently not supported". I really need to get this

Warranty Report?

Hello, When I go inside a incident, and click on buton "Edit" in table Request Details, I want to update the request, but it stay with this status with none change maded... I think its a bug, because just in this way occour it, when I goes to the link in up of the request or select the box incident and click on Edit, I can update with no problem... Can some one tell me why some of my user when opening a ticket the asset field will defaulted blank or it defaulted the flat panel asset number? while some are correctly defaulted to their asset PC's number.

Scanning Laptops
Apologies if this has been brought up before, but I was unable to find any answers through searching the forum. Is it possible to scan any assets that are not of asset type "Workstation"? We want to be able to scan laptops that are attached to the network, however we need to keep them as "Laptop" asset type for management reporting purposes. If it isn't possible, is this something that will be addressed in future releases? Thanks :)

REMOTE DCOM Option
Hello, I tried to scan the workstations on my network. However, when I clicked 'Scan Now', the following error came up: '...remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation.' Some website mentioned that if I need to access data on other computer, I first needed to register DCOM server first. Am I supposed to do that, if so, I don't have any Java or VB application on my computer, how can I fix this problem. Please advice. Thanks, wku

Report on response times needed
We need a report on average response times per SLA. Is it possible to have a report to show the average time between Request creation date, and the time of it's first Work Log item. We would like the records to be grouped by Priority. And we would be running the report on a monthly basis. We have to reporrt on response times to the SMT on a monthly basis so vital that we have this report. Surely this is a standard report that people need ? Has anyone created one ? Regards

What I am trying to generate is a report which shows Tickets created today, still open, still overdue, resolved today, closed today. Is there a way to send an email alert to a groups (Network for example) manager if a ticket hasn't been picked up in a certain time period and if so, can we set different times for different levels of tickets. So let's say two hours go by on a normal ticket and no one in networking has picked it up an email alert is triggered and sent to the manager of the group only. New Field - Location
I've looked thru the forums so I just want to confirm... I've created an additional Requester Field (kilometres Travelled) - So we can log how many klm's we travel during a callout... but it does not show up on the Request screen... If I save the request and then go into the New Change BUtton it is available but this is rather cumbersome..... Am I missing something... any assistance would be greatly appreciated

We have 2 groups set up - Systems - UK and Systems - Montreal. Asset Group Dynamic critera is not saving
I am creating a new Dynamic Group to search for assets that are not assigned to a site yet. Criteria: Site Conditions: Is not Choosing all 4 of my sites When I Save & View Group, I see all of my workstations and other assets listed. If I refresh the group screen, the Condition has changed from "is not" to "is". The "is not" condition is not saving properly to the group criteria.
