Can anyone show one example of using OS deployer deploy one OS to a non-OS installed computer?
One example with detailed operations, contain image creating, PXE server installing, to be deployed computer's BIOS settings, deploying process and so on.

OS Deployer Agent Hangs
Currently I'm using OS Deployer Console from Windows 7. I have captured an image of the disk using the PXE Master Image Creator and saved it to my local C: drive. I then PXE boot another computer to load the Deplyer Agent and it successfully connects to the Management Console. I create a template with all my settings and tell it to proceed. It shows the deployment in the console window, shows the current progress at 1% and total progress at 7%. However it doesn't seem to get past this stage. It's

USB versus Network Agent Deployment
On a standard 100Mbps lan the network deployments using the OS Deployment Agent obviously take quite some time. Without a gig link, or a fibre channel hba you're stuck sitting for usually days. So I was wondering how much faster deployments are using the standalone method? For instance using a usb 2.0 external hard drive?

Deploying is successful, Except It's not
After creating an image and booting via the standalone utility flash drive, I started a standalone deployment. About 3 seconds after I hit "proceed" I get a message saying "Deploying is successful" except when I reboot I realize my box has been bricked. There's also a slight blip on the screen when I click "Okay" on that rather misleading success message that allows me to see what looks like more than a few errors. I've gone the distance on this one reading the documentation and trying this product

Deploying Multiple Machines with Same Image
Having issues when I am deploying same image to multiple same type computers at the same time. Only 1 or 2 at the most succeed, the rest fail saying 'failed to deploy image' followed by 'image corrupted'. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening. I know the image is good it just seems to not want to deploy to multiple machines at the same time with no rhyme or reason. Thanks in advance, Matthew
Boot from network and image starts loading but reboots immedietaly
i am booting from the network fine and go into the agent fine. I am trying it manually first to get it working but when the deployment starts, it causes the client to reboot everytime. I ran a check on the image and it was good. Suggestions?
Deployed Image failed to boot.
Hi, Need some help please. I've created an image fine and deployment seems to be working, well on the server i can see the deployment take place and see the image get to 100%. The pc then reboots and attempts to boot off the hard drive and comes up with the following message bootmgr is missing. Now normally I would just run a startup repair which would fix it, but in this instance its from a fresh deployed working image so shouldnt really need to. Now just to make sure, i have recreated the template
Make Sense of Deployer 3
Hi, I am confused on the product. We are testing this for our office and it is replacing desktop authority. We have been able to make images but we have not found a way to mount them. This is key for us, as we tend to open user images to obtain files and also it helps check if the image is valid. Is their away to do this. Am I missing something ? -Devan
What can windows 7 do?
I am a pc user but I'm finding that windows 7 isn't as good as I would have hoped. The thing is I know there are many things I can do, but i don't know them. For instance my friend has a mac and the OS is all full of neat stuff such as photo booth and all the other 'flashy' things But i know that windows has similar capabilities and there must be some things you can download for windows 7 as well right? Also , with OSX mountain lion out it seems to me that the mac OS seems to update with more features
Unable to Capture Image via PXE boot
Hi m i'm unable to capture an image via pxe boot , i get to the screen where you can save the image to a media , drive or network .. but for some reason i'm not seeing any option to save it to my network share .. any ideas folks screen shot provided below

Deploying to 300 PC's over 3 months
Hi, Is it possible to set up a deployment task that will push to any PC that connects to the agent and will take the next PC name in the list? At present, I have created a deployment task and template for the roll out. I set a scheduled task to push the image to a set of mac addresses entered into the task. It assigns a unique name that is set each time I run the task. Is it possible to remove the need to edit the template (to change the name) and add the mac addresses every time as it is a potential
OS deploy of a image with sysprep
I have taken an image that is generalized with sysprep. When i use this image to make a template I don't have the possibility to fill in a PC name en the domain. Is this normal because it's made with sysprep.

Hi, I am looking to try using Universal Deploy when pushing images, but cannot find any help with sourcing different HALs. I need to push an image created on a Core i5 to an AMD Turion based laptop, but can't find a HAL.dll for win 7 64 bit. Am I looking for the correct thing? Is there a known library of HALs? Group Assignment when Enrolling Devices with the Apple Configurator Profile
Hi, I've been enrolling devices (iPads on iOS 9.3.2) using the Apple Configurator Profile downloaded from the Enrollment page. The enrollment works fine, the problem is that I can't assign the devices to a group of my choice. They all go to the iOS Corporate Default group. Is it possible to move devices across groups? I have Replicated my image to Remote Office, and they appear in the Remote Office Image Repository. However when trying to Create a Deployment Template it does not allow me to select the image from that Remote Office Share. When I select the drop down, only the Images on the Local Office share appear.

MDM to Deploy apps to Apple Devices - Seems to require an Itunes account on the device?
Hi, I have MDM setup to talk to the apple app store and a VPP token installed. I can assign Apps to a device and it will appear in the ME App catalog to install but when you goto install it, the device will then tell you no iTunes account exists on the device. If I add a generic iTunes account to the device then it will let me install the apps via the ME app. But surely the whole purpose of doing it this way is not to require an iTunes account on every device? Or am I misunderstanding how it works?
