Patching behavior of newly added Windows machines?
We're deep in our trial of Desktop Central. I'm seeing what I consider odd behavior on newly added windows machines. I add the DC client to a machine, and the first thing that happens is that for any applicable APD task, the machine goes into the "patching complete" state in APD no matter how many patches it has lined up. It then stays in that state until at least the next vulnerability DB update, and sometime after that runs patches. This can take up to almost a day unless I force the patches. Is
Office 2016 Deployment
I am having trouble deploying Office 2016 and Office 2013 using Desktop Central. I can deploy them fine manually so i know the configuration file is correct but Desktop central does not deploy. The package shows executed and the logs look ok but nothing happens. I can deploy other things like acrobat and Visio 2016 so I know the network permissions are correct.
Add computer/device not connected

Show Name of Software Patches being installed
I wanna let Users know what kind of patches are ready to install, currently the Agent only mentions "Updates available" without being able to see what kind of applications are being Updated. How can i show the list of patches?
Feature Pack Deployment Failing
I followed the instructions for Feature Pack Deployment and the deployment is failing with "Unable to download dependency patch (104980) from the server." The ISO's are named as listed in the instructions and are in the correct folder on the server. We are currently on build 149 Thanks

Hello, we have a Windows 7 computer with 32bit installation. DC now says that it can not be upgraded to a Windows 10 with 64bit technology. Is that possible anyway?
Office 365 Update fails to install
Update for Office 365 Deferred Channel Version 1705 (Build 8201.2200) -(x86) has failed to install on the majority of our computers. It states under remarks "The system cannot find the file specified." Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks! -Matt

DC user creating issue when enable SDP technician access to DC
Hi. I'am testing integration between SDP 9.3 and DC 10.0. Integration was configured using the guide. When I create technician in SDP and enable access to DC and MDM for him, a user with empty username is created in the DC. Domain name is filled, but User name is grayed out. This technician can log in to SDP and have access to DC from SDP, but can't log in to DC without SDP.

Manage desktop central console over WAN, secure gateway configured
Hi all, We just purchased Desktop Central to replace SCCM, third party software patching system and our bomgar account. I successfully have DC agents and MDM agents communication from internet through secure gateway to or DC server. How do I make it so my IT team can use the DC Console to manage desktops? I also would like them to be able to use the Android/iOS app. When I try to access the console from a remote connection, it hits the sender however we just get a white screen in the browser.
External HA Monitoring
We are running an HA setup between two PMP servers. However we have found occasional outside issues that affect HA and cause it to fail. The single notification email is not effective and cannot be tied to our centralized monitoring. Is there a way for an external check such as Nagios to determine the HA status?

Are all posts to this forum manually reviewed now? I just commented on someone's post and it says "Awaiting Moderation." This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it seems like the moderation has a long delay. I got a bunch of notifications of new posts four hours ago, and some of the posts were from yesterday.

Hi, I have a deployment that I only want to deploy to Windows 10 1803. There isn't an OS option for the different Windows 10 feature updates so I was thinking of a dynamic custom group but I don't get an option for that either. How could I deploy to only one feature update release?

Any reason why using %name% in notification templates do not work when I am modifying a user? I would like the manager to get a email notification when a change is made to their employee's profile. Create new single user templates work just fine. Thanks!

Limit Report to a list of Technicians
Hi, I have a report which tells me what Technicians have done last month. Currently this lists all Technicians. I want to limit it to a list of Technicians, so I can produce reports to Team Managers for their team only. Can anyone tell me how I can do this? Email sending fails
I have a new install of ServiceDesk plus and can't get it to send emails. No emails go out on tickets being assigned, and when I try to reply to a ticket I get this error: localhost:8042 says sending notification failed We are on Office365, but I also tried using Amazon's SES which we use on our copier. Any help is appreciated.
Where can I see Long-Running Automation Task Running
There was a log file in the manageengine logs directory called ADMangLog_2018-08-03.txt but then I upgraded to the latest build and now nothing is written to it. So now, not only does the interface not show me a task that is still executing, I don't even have a log file that I can reference. So I have a task that is running, but can't tell if it is running or how far a long it is unless I click "Run Now" again and I am told it is still executing. Any insights or log files would be great.

Automation Policy with Regenerated Report
I am trying to setup an automation policy for De-provisioning users using a regenerated report. It is a basic policy that disables users in a specific OU and deletes them at a later date. The policy runs on a report of all users in that specific OU. The issue I am running into is that the delete happens on all users in the initial report even if I move them out of that OU before the delete happens. My understanding is that the regenerated report run at the time of the delete should not include users
Self Serve Portal stops working with removal of SMB1 protocal on Windows 10
After all of the WannaCry action over the summer - today I finally got around to removing the SMB1 protocal from several WIndows 10 ENT workstations. It tried it first on a few test VMs and did not see any impact. How to add Timestamp to Request Response emails
Hi several of our customers have complained that the emails sent from request do not include the timestamp history of prior emails. So for example if we send emails back in forth from any email program (Outlook, Gmail) it includes the email header info from all prior emails including who sent the email and time sent. Is there a way to change the default reply template to mimic this behavior?

We bought Password Manager Pro and it was running fine. But now users cannot login with LDAP. The action performed says "User Authentication Failed" and the reason is "LDAP Authentication". But administrators are abled to login without errors. What's the problem? May you help me? Regards.
