Missing Resources in Configurations.
We attempting to set up a Folder Redirection configuration to change the My Documents folder to point to a personal folder on a filer server. We have several fire servers on different sites that are all under different subnets. The DC server resides on the 10.0.x.x subnet while other File Servers reside on their respective site subnets, i.e. 10.1.x.x and 10.2.x.x Currently we are only able to see available resources in our domain for the 10.0.x.x subnet. Is there some way to add in the file servers
Script to add worklog, solution and close ticket
Hello, I'm trying to understand if exist a SDP script to fill automatically worklog and resolution (same default text) of a ticket and then close the ticket replying with an email (with a default text) to requester. A similar script was discussed in an old thread in this community (https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/community/topic/script-master-22-auto-create-worklog-and-change-status-of-requests) but is unavailable actually. Delete Older Files of a Certain Type
I know I can perform workflow actions on files based on age but the current workflow module doesn't allow me to specify any file attributes. If there is a folder with a mix of files, I may only want to compress or delete txt files or log files. There should be a way to specify the actual file name and type using wildcards. Excessive files in wal_archive folder in SDP
This folder is over 40 GB in size, by far the largest user of space. What files are safe to delete? I want to keep this folder down in size so I need to know how to do this ongoing. Files in wal_archive date back to 3/18/18. SDP is creating up to 50 files a day at a size of 16 MB each. This seems excessive. I have backups in backup folder for 5/3/18 and 5/18/18. Thanks. Todd

I see two options for how to solve the problem. Edit the script so that only active users are unloaded, or ... Please tell me a query to the database for the final removal of deleted users.

Desktop Central agents not connecting after upgrade
I just upgraded Desktop Central from 10.0.0-SP-364 to 10.0.0-SP-435. The server starts fine and I am able to login via the web UI, however none of my agents are able to connect. If I run the agent troubleshooter, everything appears ok except antivirus. Any ideas what would cause this and how to fix it?

Hi all, We have some passwords in our system where there is 1 resource with multiple accounts within it. We add all passwords manually and dont use auto logon or auto change. Background Colour varies behind the logo
Previously, I uploaded a PNG logo with a transparent background and it worked great. With a recent update the banner background colour changed to a dark grey and my logo looks like rubbish. I would update my logo to work with the darker background but the logon page will has a light background - I don't have a logo that will work in both situations. Have to migrate old SDP (8217) from Windows + MSSQL + AD authorization to Ubuntu + PGSQL. Almost all things is clear, but have problem with AD authorization. After backup restoration on Ubuntu - I can't login ether local admin or AD credentials and SDP doesn't show field where I can choose local auth or local. What is correct "migration plan"?
Differences between on-prem and cloud version
Hi, I was wondering whether there were any plans to allign the two version so they have the same set of features? Currently we would like to have both release management and cmdb but it does not seem to be possible. I have migrated 700+ passwords into a new instance of PMP and noticed that a number of passwords have a strange character symbol, looks like a ? in a black triangle shape. The symbol turns out to be £ however when I try to update the password to include £ I get the following error: "Error occurred while changing the password. Activity Logs: Trying to use Agent Mode: 1. It will create a new request from the parent request and copy all the relevant data I want over while adding a note to the parent request with the id and link etc for the child request. Hi, We use AD Self Service to keep passwords in sync between two of our domains (separate forests). A subset of our users also have accounts in the second domain. In previous versions, staff could log in against the primary domain and AD Self Service would attempt to update their password in both domains. Migrating resource groups\accounts to new instance of PMP
I am currently using PMP installed on a onsite server but have now created a new PMP instance in AWS. I am now trying to export the existing groups\account in a format which I can then import easily into the new PMP. However I also want to include the user group permissions as well as I have 300+ groups to migrate and I do not want to have to add each group individually to the user groups setup in the new PMP. Hi, We have installed the desktop central client on a PC in a workgroup that isn't on our LAN. the troubleshooting tool shows that it can see the Desktop Central Server and the Notification server. The PC however doesn't ever appear in the console. So the question is should a device, that isn't on the LAN and has the client installed manually, appear in Scope of Management automatically. Link new sdp server to exisiting mssql server
Hi, we are updating all our servers to server 2019. Now I would like to link the new sdp server with a read-only user to the live database until we are sure that all attachments and images are moved. Once this is confirmed and testet we'll move the mssql db to the new mssql server. The latter is not a problem, but linking the new SDP server to the old MSSQL doesn't work. Is there any way to start chandbserver so it does not want to create a new db but simply uses an existing one - with a read-only
