How to revoke the licenses of inactive Office 365 users using ADManager Plus.

ADManager Plus enables you to generate crucial reports on Office 365 objects like users, groups, contacts, and more. With ADManager Plus, you can revoke the licenses of multiple inactive Office 365 users at once. 

 

Steps to revoke the licenses of inactive Office 365 users:

  • Logon to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Office 365 tab. 

  • Click on Inactive Users report listed under the Account Status Reports category of the User Reports section. 

  • Select the Domain and OUs of your choice.  

  • Select the period of inactivity using the Select the desired time period drop down.

  • You can also exclude all active AD users from this report. 

  • Click Generate

  • You can use the Add/Remove columns to include or exclude attributes from the report. 

  • You can also use the Export As option to export the report to file formats such as PDF, CSV, HTML, and more. 

  • Click on the Revoke All Licenses option, located beside the Quick Search option. Besides revoking Office 365 licenses, perform other AD management operations from within this report by clicking on More Actions
