Hi, My system is directly connected in DMZ. I have Linux, Windows (Win 2000 and Win 2003) servers in DMZ. I am not able to fix "Resource Monitor" over Linux ip's and over two Windows ip's. One ip for Windows is not showing �Disk Utilization� but �CPU Utilization� and �Memory Utilization� monitors are working fine. Rest of the monitors for other ip�s are working fine. SMS Alerts
First off I would like to know if there is a way to send SMS directly to phone number instead of phone email address, and secondly is there a way to speed up the delivery time or receipt time of the message. I know this would have to do with the Cellphone carrier network and how fast the exchange server sends to the carrier.....just wondering if there is a quicker way. I know if it was sent directly to phone number it would probably be much faster..

ServiceDesk Error
I often get this error when the request page refreshes (currently set to every minute). 'Most' of the time its fine, but there will be atleast 1 'time' per day where this will occur, and continuing happening for awhile, until it suddenly stops. Manually refreshing the page fixes it straight away, until the next auto-refresh, when the error will then appear again. Eventually it will stop happening, and generally wont happen for quite awhile afterwards. As far as problems go, this isn't a major one,

Linking Multiple Locations.
We have two locations. Only one currently has ServiceDesk installed. But it sure would be nice if we could link these two locations. We can't use WMI, because of NAT. But what about an agent that could communicate between two instances of ServiceDesk? Allow us to keep all our service info. synced between the two locations. David.

Traffic monitor does't work for Cisco 7600 router

version 6005: RX & TX utilization 100%
Hi, My Opmanager version is 6005. I find that traffic monitor-> TX & RX utilization are 100% . The inbound/outbound traffic of 6509 switch is less than 30Mbps, and the circuit bandwidth is 100M . I think that is wrong. I test the monitor and find that the mib oid is : (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10*8*100*1000000)/(.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.15*$DELTA_TIME) I think it will be : (.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10*8*100)/(.1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.15*1000000*$DELTA_TIME) anyone can solve this ? Authentication problem on add a Jboss Monitor
Dear Friends, i�m trying to add a jboss monitor. When I add a monitor running inthe same server that Appications Manager is running, is added ok, but if i do on a remote server I have authentication error: Invalid username and/or password I�m trying with a default version of Jboss AS 3.2.3, running on a Suse 9.2 box with JVM 1.4.2. Checking the jboss logs of remote server i saw that jbossagent.sar was not deployed, so i had a manual deploy, but i get the error that i told you above Thanks all Rangel

Hi all, I got a question concening a cisco router and it�s interfaces. We got a cisco 3640 with multiple interfaces. When an interface is down espacialliy an ISDN Bri port, trouble and errors will be displayed. Can't start webserver on Centos 4.3 Server install
I'd login to post, but I'm getting the following error whenever I try to register: "You have exceeded the number of registration attempts for this session. Please try again later." I've installed Opmanager on Windows several times and have even convinced a few clients to purchase it. I thought I'd give the linux version a try as well. I just downloaded the demo 8 hours ago and still cant get it to work, I install Dapper 6.1, java and apache2. I get the same message " Failed to establish connection with web server. Gracefully shutting down OpManager.". I tried starting the webserver with bad results. "./StartWebSvr.sh: line 38: /opt/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/jre1.4.1/bin/java: No such file or directory bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libgdbm.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" ...????
Graphing data contained within a trap
Siemens IP phones have the ability to send call quality information (party connected to, codec, jitter, lost packets, etc) via a trap back to a management system for processing into graphs. Siemens have an application that does this but as I'm having problems getting support from Siemens I thought that I'd try and do it via OpManager. So, is there a means of processing this data (non-ASCII), storing the required information and then graphing it? Regards, Robert

Changes in timing for New Requests
Im a new administrator to Service Desk Plus. I was adding a New Request however would like to find out if its possible to change the start date or time of the new request instead of using the time which the new Request is created. The request could be a backdated request for the above scenario. Any advice ?
Check for SCSI Errors
I'm trying to get Application Manager to run a script on a Solaris server. This script checks /var/adm/messages files for scsi errors. If scsi errors is found, Application Manager Configure Alerts sends me an email. Application Manager is able to run the script, but it's not sending emails. I'm not sure if the problem is my script, the monitor setup or both. URL Response Code Monitoring
If I have a URL monitor checking for a Response Code greater than 200, what occurs when the URL being checked has frames. Does it check the Response Code of the first frame? Thanks.

Adding more detail to alarms/notifications
Currently we have some email notifications setup that contain the default fields as well as some additional ones we have added (like City, ID number, etc). What is the best way to get more specific technical information into these notifications? Eg, if a device goes down, can we have the reason appear in the notification. Is this possible, or is this something that would require us to instead look at the device logs?
Where are attached files stored?
Is it possible to open an attached file (through link in SDP), change it and save it? So far in our evaluation we find that changes don't take. Is there a way to support direct link to the actual documents? Thanks
