Event Log Rules Not generating alarm notifications.
Hello, I ticked to be alerted some event log rules and also created a few, such as Event ID 9539 for an Exchange Store dismounting. I left all the other optional fields empty. I triggered this event by taking a store offline. Event though I have the check boxes selected in my notification settings, I'm not getting alerted. I can see the events in the application log. Am I missing something? Other alerts such as thresholds are working. Thanks,
to fetch Managed Object
Upgraded to 7021. All was working. Added some new servers. Continued to get reports and alarms. Went to look at a server to deal with an alarm, and got 'Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object '. I now get this message for all servers I try to look at. Is this a 7021 bug? A database corruption? Something else? How can I fix this?

Roles don't allow differentiation of own vs. all
I noticed a bit of a pain in the system regarding roles. It appears that if a user wants to create reports, you can give them view and add reports roles. However, there is no way that they can edit or delete their own custom reports if they aren't given edit or delete rights. I think this really needs to be refined to differentiate between reports they have created (in their own custom reports folder) and all reports. I installed OpManager 7 today on my test server that is running Server 2003 Standard Edition, SP 1. I logged on locally as the local machine admin that has FULL RIGHTS to the machine. Memory Utilization Report Shows Negative Values
I have setup the daily report Memory Utilization to be emailed to me and on only two of the servers it shows negative values - (picture attached) If I test the monitor it works fine. Any ideas what's causing this?

Deleting Departments forgets your page and display settings
Using IE7 and SD7 - Build 7004, when I delete a department the screen is redisplayed from the start of the list and with the default of 10 per page shown. I assume this is a bug to be resolved in a future build. Regards, Andy

Hi, How can I force the execution of a monitor? I have a lot of cases where I get an error (for example, apache is down), I fix it, and I want AppManager to run the monitor again. How can I do it? Am I doing something wrong? I come from SiteScope, and there you have the "refresh" button on any monitor to launch it again and confirm. Thanks!
Enable multiple selection items in global view
When viewing what's going on in my operation, I'd like to be able to select different things that the standard selection list in Global View. I'd like to see the department, for instance, or some other variable. Leased Assets - How to keep record of lease
Just started looking at the Asset is Leased option within SD+7 ( ent ) , build 7004 and I'm a little confused as to how it is expected to be used. Migrate current OpManager Installation to new hardware
I am wanting to migrate my existing installation to a new server and maintain my existing database. I am using the built in MySQL database on my current installation and want to continue to use it on the new installation. Is it possible to install on the new hardware and move my existing data to the new server and not have to re-register? If this is possible, how can I do that?

Device Availability Wrong
I have two devices that are reporting 0% availability although they ping from OpManager 7 and are collecting disk, cpu and memory stats ok. Just the availability is zero. It looks normal otherwise. Has anyone else seen this? thanks, Lerwick

I'm monitoring page file usage on a group of servers and want to do a single report showing the usage for all the servers. I only see where I can do the reports for the servers individually. Asset Import - Warranty Expiry Date
Just checking over a batch of data being imported via CSV and the Warranty Expiry data doesn't appear to be shown on screen so I can't check it. The import file has fields defined for Purchase Date Warranty Expiry Date Expiry Date I populated Purchase Date and Warranty Expiry Date and left Expiry Date blank as I wasn't sure why there would be 2 expiry dates, assuming for leasing or similar. URL Monitors don't show up
The Url monitors don't show up under the URL view. It says "No URL Monitors found in the database". However when I go to Admin and Url Monitors they are there and we continue to get emails when it hits its threshold. How can I get the Url monitors to show up in the infrastructure view?

Currently have a SonicWALL 5060 w/six interfaces. The system states that it is recieving packets, non are marked as un-parsed, but no data is available. I have tried both Standard/Default format and Webtrends with the same results.

I'm new to Opmanager. The company I'm working for is looking for software that can monitor the client sites they are working for. Is it possible to install Opmanager at our office and discover the client networks. The case is that I want to monitor MySQL cluster which runs on Linux Server, so I though to create a new Template "MySQL Cluster" which has the Linux System OID + my custom monitors. this could not be achieved as the OpManager reject the System OID since it's already associated to Linux. Hi, I'm trying to use in the scheduled report the publication through an URL. I set in my web site an area to receive reports but when I try to put the url and click on next button I got a message asking me for an valid email adress. I have installed a 30 day trial on my admin workstation. I like what I see so far, this seems to be what were looking for in terms of user management and self service helpdesk. I am however going to be forced to sell the system to the management who sign the checks. I'm looking at the 5 helpdesk license, but we would be smart to just do the 10, in any case its thousands a year from a non-profit company budget. Warranty period on assets?
When associating a vendor to a product SD+ allows you to put in a 'Warranty Period' for that product. But when you purchase that product from that vendor and look at the Resource details. It will show you an Acquisition Date but there is nothing in the 'Expiry Date'. I can't seem to find any warranty information once the product is purchased. Thx Build 7004
Disabled Accounts
In testing the product I have noticed that once a user is enrolled and then later has their account disabled it still counts against the active number of enrolled users which means that the account takes up a license. Is there a way to unlink the two so that once an account is disabled it no longer takes up a user account in adselfservice without having to entirely delete the account?
