Alert System Up (critical ???)
Many of our systems send an Alert System up trap every so often, or on server reboot. That is no problem, BUT it comes up as a critical error. Is there any way of changing this so it doesn't look like an error that needs attention. I am happy that it is up, not sad.
SSL option?
I want to make my SupportCenter installations available to my SupportReps via the Internet, without requiring them to log into the VPN Remote Access. I don't want to do this via HTTP and want to utilize SSL. I don't see any such method for this in 6.5.0 build 6500.
OPManager Interface Graphs Pictures not displayed sometimes
We use OPManager 7023 with a few cisco firewalls. But we can only see the Interface traffic Image sometimes. In most cases the image is missing and a red cross is displayed (see attachment). We deleted and readded the firewalls several times but it is always the same. Sometimes you can see the traffic interafce graph and a few hours later it doesn't work. Thanks in advance.

Can't add URL-Monitor
Hello, I have OpManager V7 - Hotfix 7023 in operation. The problem has existed since V7. I can not URL-Monitor add. At press Ok or CheckNow nothing happens and Internet Explorer displays a message (see attachment). The same on another browser. I use the OpManager in German. Support: Our SDP v7 Enterprise Edition is using MS Exchange with SMTP enabled but POP/IMAP disabled due to security policies. Can you give me what features do I lose with this setup? Eventlog Stops Collect the Data
Dear Support team, I'm using the Evetlog for almost 2 months, during this period I noticed few times (almost twice a week) the Eventlog stop collecting the data from all of my servers reporting to it. I notice this by looking at "Last Message" received time on the "Host Detail" section, however when I look at "Syslog Viewer" I still saw the logs coming in from all servers. Usually I have to start and stop the service to get it back to service. I run EventLog Build Version : 4.0.3 ; Build Number :
Interface groups?
is it possible to, or are there any plans to create "Interface groups"? I want to have the ability to create groups of interfaces in the same fashion that we can create groups of devices in order to assign users rights to see statistics from only select interfaces on select devices. I see that there is an interface group feature that allows you to group multiple interfaces into one monitoring entity, but this is not what I want. Thanks...

Cant monitor a Fedora machine
Dear all, I installed Opmanager in a Windows 2000 machine and try to monitor another machine. However, it cannot get those utilitization information for it (But it can get those utilities information from Windows machine). Actually, it show the snmp star in that machine. I did install snmpd in that linux machine. It's running and open the port for it by the firewall (tried to turn off the firewall either). Anyone can help me?
NFA 6.0 and Riverbed Steelhead WAN Optimization Appliance
We have WAN optimization appliances called Riverbed Steelhead among our Data Center and 2 of our biggest remote sites. NFA are getting Netflow data from our Cisco Routers but the problem is the bulk of the traffic being seen are those optimized data to and from the Riverbed appliances. In the top Application Report, NFA just sees them as TCP_App. We found out that you can enable Netflow on the Riverbed Appliance. OpManager 64bit optimization?
What are the plans to have a 64bit version of OpManager? I would like to take advantage of the 64bit processors my OpManager server has and right now I have to run the 32bit Redhat 4 load.
Editing $requestlink to add FQDN
Forgive me if this has been documented somewhere already, I haven't been able to find it. How might I edit the $requestlink that is sent when a ticket is opened to add the FQDN? We are testing out ServiceDesk, and it is on a test domain of ours, and when demoing it to our director we want to be able to show them that without having to type it in. We want to be able to just click the link. I looked through the directory structure, but not sure where to actually look. Thanks in advance, ben
No Out traffic, and also tiny traffic rates being displayed
I am using a J4350 and exporting version5 netflow data to the Netflow Analyzer. This router has 4 Ge interfaces and we have netflow sampling configured inbound on all 4 interfaces. The sampling rate we are using is 1 in 200 packets and a run-rate of 4, so that we should be sampling 5 out of 200 packets. 1) do we need to make modifications to the Netflow Analyzer to take this into account. 2) how do we get outbound traffic to be showing up in the GUI. Fields not available in reports
There are a lot of fields not available for reporting in version 7. I think this should be a bug of version 7 because they were available in version 6 For example is the assets reporting there is no price no serial number no location...all fields that are part of the asset. Can you please tell me when will this be fixed, in version 6 theu were available.

Netflow Configuration for VLANs on 3550 Switch
I enabled netflow on 3550 switch and was able to see the interfaces but there was no OUT traffic, only the IN traffic. I enabled ip route-cache flow on all VLANs but i am only getting the IN traffic and no OUT. Any help is appreciated.

Adding Requests Directly Into Database
Hi, Out IT group was wondering if it is possible to add requests directly through an ODBC connection into the MySql ServiceDesk. We have been using email and have played with a web application sending an email using business rules but we feel creating our own small web application for users to send tickets to our helpdesk is the best solution. Bulk Export of Template
The bulk import is not easy to use. It would be great if AdManager had an export feature, even if it was just 1 user set up as a template and we could just do a search and replace for changes... Mike

Mandatory group & quick edit
Hi, I've setup SD+ (6013) to have mandatory group. It's working fine when we try to edit requests, but we can "quick edit" them to "No group" (I'm using Firefox if it's related). Thanks

Utilization graphs no longer showing data
I am currently running OpManager 7.0, build 7021. OpManager has stopped showing any data under the Servers tab for Top-N CPU utilization, Top-N Memory Utilization, and Top-N Disk utilization.
SupportCenter over WWW
Hi Adventnet, I'm testing supportcenter plus, and managed to get it to publish on the www behind an ISA 2006 firewall. I can get the main login page to load. Loging in seems to generate an error http://domain.com/j_security_check;jsessionid=966CE2BA0A60C4747D0113545233A92D However, after that error if i were to substitute with the following entry, http://domain.com/HomePage.do This would work out perfectly. No scheduled AD import?
Hi, Since you've got rid of memory bug of AD import, I've setup scheduled import but it doesn't seem to work at all ... (I manually delete a requester account, the schedule is to import every "1 day", 2 days later the requester account is not back in, but if I manually import without changing anything, the account is back.) Changing roles for requesters
Hi there, I'm sure this has already been asked but is there any way to change the roles for a requester? We want to be able to set up our requesters so that they can add and edit solutions and potentially add/edit PO's. We really dont want to set up each requester as a technician as this would get expensive. Also, is there any way to add custom pages to the main interface so that we can add in custom forms/tools? How to add google view to Operator Level
In user level account we have google view but it shows all the monitor groups. I want to create an operator level account assigning perticular monitor groups to it. But when that operator logs in he does not get the google view option. Is there any way. Regards
