Restore production data -> MySQL unresponsive
We have a production server running build 6011 and want to upgrade to 7000+, so I set up a test environment. I prepared a virtual machine with build 6011, I first installed build 6000 and updated that one to 6011 with servicepack 33. Next step is restoring the production data to the the test environment. When I do that and restart the ServiceDesk al seems to work fine. After a few minutes the ServiceDesk becomes unresponsive and the eventlog shows that the mysql daemon hung. Has anybody had any luck getting a Cisco ASA5510 to cooperate with Opmanager? I can't seem to find the proper MIB's for it.
Build 7011 New Request requester display issue
When a requester is newly imported from Active Directory and a new request is then created for this requester, the phone number and department data will not populate on the new request screen. For old users, this will populate correctly. Once the new request is saved, the request will show the phone and department correctly. Please advise on repair.
OpManager - Process monitoring
Looking at OpManager to see if it will fit in a particular niche, one of the things I am trying to do is have it take action (or at least alert) if a particular Process is running on our Windows boxes (DrWtsn32) Is there a way for OpManager to do this? Thanks, Jan

NetFlow analyzer integration with OpManager
We have installed Netflow analyzer 6 & OpManager 7 in our network on two different servers. It seems in Opmanager , we can integrate the NetFlow analyzer statistics ( top applications, top protocols etc.), if we configure the add-on plugin in OpManager. We have configured the add-on plug in, supplied the correct credentials for NetFlow analyzer ( which OpManager successfully accepted). But when we are clicking on the small icon that appears for interface traffic details, it says unable to fetch the

Fundamental issue with custom views / reports
If you create reports and custom views using filters and then go and change the name for example of a group ALL the old custom views and reports no longer function correctly. SC+ does not update the tables with the new group name requiring every report and custom filter to have to be updated. I am trying to create an Exchange Server monitor. both the Exchange Server and Applications Manager 6 run on the same Windows Server. When I try to ente the username it says "Error # User credentials cannot be used for local connections", but Applications Manager will complain if I leave the fields empty. Any ideas? Cheers

Hi, I have been configured the monitor Oracle AS but it doesn�t work, I modified the file /app/oracle/9.0.4/Apache/Apache/conf/dms.conf then reboot the Http_Server instance and the port 7200 is open, the home instance is Alive, I can add the monitor in the Applications Manager but it always shows down. I have about 6000 servers, each running NETSNMP that I wish to poll, and write poll results to the MYSQL db, no thresholding, just data collection. What is the best flavour of Linux to use ? I prefer SUSE but REdhat is ok too. I want the least missing libraries, install problems, etc. In fact I'd like to know what Linux the product is developed on. Public/private domains bug
I believe this has been mentioned before, but I don't think it was ever addressed and fixed. There is a bug in the display of Windows domains in the "Windows Domain Scan" settings. The problem is that several of the domain names that are set to private are being shown in the list as public. If you bring up the settings for them, and even check the setting in the database, they are indeed private, but they display as public. The split seems to come with the one single domain name I have set as public.

If you set the priority, and then change the urgency, the priority field gets wiped. If you are not careful it is easy to overlook this and create/save the incident anyway. Can you please ensure this is fixed in the next release? Many thanks
Workstation- additional fields not updating
We have recently upgraded to the latest version of servicedesk (build 7011). I have tried to add some additional fields in the workstation - additional fields within the admin section. It seems to work but i cannot edit these fileds or delete them once they have been created!? I have deleted the label and description and clicked on save but the field is still there for the workstation. Is there another way to do this? If not is it a problem that can be fixed in latest releases?
Failed to add the File Monitor
hi everyone, when i add a file monitor for C:\ i get the message "Failed to add the File Monitor" .. but i cant retrace where the error is coming from ? it looks 2 me like its arbitrary? sometime i can add file monitoring for drive C sometimes just for drive D sometime i cant add a monitor .. and this happens on several servers ? any idea ?
SD+ 7011 and IIS Admin Service on 2003
We're running SD+ 7011 with MSSQL on a 2003 Standard Edition box (Core 2 DUO, 2GB RAM, 10K RPM HD) and when we reboot the server, ServiceDesk will not start. I called tech support and found out that there was a conflict between Service Desk (manage engine ServiceDesk service) and the IIS Admin service. When Service Desk launches, it says there is another process using port 80 and refuses to start. Tech support told me to disable the IIS admin service, which we did because this server only has Service
