monitoring linux through ssh
I was wondering if anyone was successful in getting this to work for vmware esx host. I had no issues with using ssh for monitoring a desktop linux install (CentOS 5) but it would fail when trying to monitor vmware esx. AppManage reported that there was no ssh daemon running. I am able to login to both servers using the puTTY ssh client but AppManage would only work with the CentOS server. I'm guessing its an SSH config issue but both configs are nearly identical so if anyone can identify what i need to change I would greatly appreciate it.
note: passwordauthentication=yes has already been tried and did not work
