CSV Import of MANAGER field
I'm trying to do test imports of the "Manager" in Active Directory and it generates constraint violation errors. I'm not sure specifically what is needed in this field for the import. The csv file/column has something like this: CN=John Doe,OU=Operations,OU=CEO,OU=Staff,DC=contessa,DC=com The context is correct but still fails.

Dear Support, If we have a firewall connected to a switch with NetFlow information being exported from the switch to NFA, do we need to count on both the port connected to the firewall as well as the port connected to the host or is monitoring the port connected to the firewall *only* good enough? In this case, we are only interested in Internet traffic so intra-VLAN traffic does not need to be tracked. Thanks, Chris

Hi, I'm just evaluating your product as a potential for our business. What we want to do is have a database of passwords, stored securely, that realistically no one knows. We use a program called S-Code VNC Manager to get into servers as this way the passwords are not stored in plaintext anywhere. I just saw this feature and it looks like you can do some sort of coding to get programs to request the password from your program. Hallo, since OPManager 7 we have a Alarm Notification on the Switch, like Errors rate for Port *** Description *** is 100%, threshold value for this monitor is 1% This Alarm comes very often on different Interfaces. The system is opening services automatically
After defined Filter Spam to block undesired mails the system started to open services automatically (more then 1000 in a 30 min.) We tried a boot but the system continues to open automatically.
Unable to Create 'Support Package'

Just want to check my understanding , there is no way to create a technician user that can just update non IT assets, for instance to keep track of telephones and mobiles, whilst not allowing them access to change workstation info etc. Don't want to submit a feature request for something that is already achieveable. Is one of the areas worked on relating to the messages with subject line Denied by $ApprovalSentTo and Approved by $ApprovalSentTo Just after 7013 I'm getting change notification messages being sent with those as the actual subjects. can't awknowledge, delte or clear alarm
hey all, i got mssql monitoring working on one of my database servers today and it generated all sorts of alarms based on the default thresholds. i've modified and disabled the thresholds i require, but some of the alarms generated from the cache hit ratio cannot be cleared. if i acknowledge the alarmi get a "alarm awknowledged" message at the top of the screen but the alarm still reads "unassigned" under technician. if i try to clear or delete the alarm, i'm given a blank screen. any help? p.s.

Domain scan finds same computes twice
Our computers are in domain N: vvv.ee the domain scan finds computers like pc001.vvv.ee and pc001.dyn.vvv.ee and a lot of the names are like so. Why does it find the same computer with different ndings. And amazing is that with not all the computers only like 50 from 300.
Crystal report showing deleted/merged requests
I've created a report using Crystal to display a certain departments incidents during the last month. However it seems to be pulling out incidents that have either been deleted or merged. I've had a poke around the database and can not see any fields similiar to "isdeleted" which relates to workorders. Can anyone shed any light on what field, and in which table is responsible for hiding merged requests please? Cheers

We have a second network that is only available through a proxy machine. basically you have to ssh to an outside address then you can ssh to the nat private addresses. Is there any way to get Linux monitoring to work this way?

I have everything working except unable to perform a WHERE clause with the AUDITTIME and <from_today>/<to_today> templates. Wether I take the AUDITTIME out of my WHERE clause or leave it in I get the same results. Expand Templates or Add more Templates
Desktop centrals templates seem to be based on Group Policy just made easier via the interface on Desktop Central. It would be nice if you could expand desktop central to include more of the Group Policy configurations without loosing the "Desktop Centric" focus of Desktop Central and not step on any of the "functionality" of any existing Adventnet product.
Manually stopping/starting the default MySQL server
Last week I installed a default install of Applications Manager for evaluation and it worked great. Sometime over the weekend the application stopped running. I tried to restart but got an error that MySQL was not running. I found MySQL under the Applications Manager install directory but could not get it to start. Can someone tell me the recommended way to stop/start the MySQL server that comes with Applications Manager? This is a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.1. I tried running mysqld_safe

When I create report for last 24 hours. for instance server CPU the result comming up in interval of 1 hour. 10:00 4% 11:00 3% How can I chsange this interval to 5 minutes in reports? Thanks
