New functionality question
Hi all, Is it possible to add the following functionality: - When the status changes to warning or error (failed) a sound is played e.g. a .wav or .mid file is played through the browser page (for instance the Plasma View). - This audible 'event' should be configurable for repetition and muting. This would be a great asset to the monitoring functionality and I miss it in the current release. I don't know if I have to use a different channel to ask for extra functionality but i saw a similar topic

Login Problem
Hi, Just recently downloaded your ADManager Plus software, so far it seems great, with one problem. Our users cannot login to it using active directly. All our user names are in Arabic. When we tried to login using Arabic user name we cannot, but if we use English username we can. We have also tried to use your another application ServiceDesk Plus which does allow our users to login though that application also does not support Arabic. So was wondering if you people can make this application also
Suggestion: thresholds in use
If I'm on the View Thresholds page, it would be nice to be able to see where each threshold is currently being used. That way if I want to rename or re-use one I can see what it will effect.

Down Services Not Creating Alerts?
I just installed the trial edition of OpManager on a small network with 4 Linux servers and 2 windows servers. I created an Email and SMS alert profile, applied it to all servers. I also added a couple of URL monitors and these seem to work and send an email when the site is down. However, if I take down a service on a server (mysql for instance), it will show up as being down in the OpManager interface, but it does not show up as a Down Service on the OpManager Home Page Summary, nor is an alert

Hello, I would like to know wether it is possible to determine the bandwith usage of Voice Over IP and streaming Video traffic with NetFlow analyzer? Increase Detailed statistics size
Hi, We are using the demo version of OpManager 7 and we need to increase the Detailed statistics size to two months. The maximum size is 15 days and is not enough. We have plenty of disk space so that will not be an issue. Is there a way to force OpManager to accept a large amount? I tried to edit a XML file but OpManager is not able to start correctly. I get a login screen but after the login my browser is trying to connect without success. Regards, Rogier
Allow Contract Expiry Notification Email to be Customisable
There does not appear to be anywhere in SC+ 7007 that allows you to customise the Contract expiry email contents. A template for the Contract expiry notification email should be added to the Admin/Notification Rules configuration options, similar to the other templates already provided.
Missed monitored events
Continuing to explore the options AppManager has, I was looking at the MySql monitoring and noticed there wasn't any reporting about the replication I have going on with one of my servers. I dug through the logs, and saw an error with permissions for the user I had configured. I fixed that, and promptly got replication stats. Q: Is there anywhere to view events that aren't being captured? Or do I have to dig through the logs and look for errors?

Updating Disk Usage Threshold doesn't take...
I attempted to update the threshold to an existing % Free Space attribute but when status always showed the old threshold that was set. It wasn't until I removed the configuration and re-added it to all the servers that it saved.
App Manager will not startup
HI Our applications manager will not sartup. This is due to MySQL being unable to start. I have checked for conflicting ports and there are not any. I have tried starting MySQL seperately using the startMySQL.sh script but this errors on line 24 if the script. We are using 8.1 or 2 with about 100 monitors. Kind regards Grant Swift

Hello, I am using SD Plus 7.0.0 Build 7015. Here are a few things we've found that can be improved in SD. Hopefully these will make it into the next release (or a fix/workaround can be found). 1) The ability to change the default font for SD. The default font is Arial, size 8. This is a bit too small since most people are running LCDs at a minimum res. of 1440x900. A default font size of 10 will greatly help. How to read data?
Hello, I have download Netflow Analyzer. Now I have made config changes on two routers - Site A Router A (two interfaces - FE0/0 & S0/0) and Site B Router B (two interfaces - FE0/0 & S0/0). Both these routers are Cisco 1760. Connected by Point-Point FULL T1. I have setup ip flow-export source FastEthernet0/0. Now, how do I get Bandwidth usuage from the data collected? I recently purchased Service Desk, I uploaded a company logo and realized that it was way too big for the PO portion of the program. I re sized the image, renamed it and when I try and add it, it saves fine but it did not update on the PO. Thoughts?
Custom Asset Field not saving in 7018
I have a created a custom asset field. I have populated the asset field successfully. However, today I can not seem to add or modify data in that field for scanned assets (servers). However, I seem to be able to add/modify the custom filed for none scanned assets (scanners) which I imported via csv. We have made no changes to the DB (MSSQL 2005). Any suggestions?

Shortcut: Apply a template to job from requests screen
I would like to be able to TICK a request, and then press "Apply Template", from the main Requests screen. This will save a MASSIVE amount of time on all requests. When you click "Apply Template", SDP should open the job in the EDIT screen, and PRE-LOAD the template you have selected. Suggest using a popup screen to list your templates, from the main menu. I would suggest put this new button next to MERGE, or next to ASSIGN TECHNICIAN somewhere in main screen :) EXAMPLE IMAGE BELOW -------------------

Scheduled requests happenes every month, not selected month
I made a scheduled request what should be happening on a yearly base. So I selected a monthly sequence and only selected the month of June and the first day. I would like the event to happen the first day of June every year. Regardless of these settings the event also occures the first of July, the first of August etc. This is wrong because it only should be once a year ! What can be done about this ? Order of users when assigning from workstation
Does anyone else have this problem? I go to edit a workstation, assign a user, and the drop down list of users is in some random order, so I have to look all through them to find the correct user. Also, I cannot assign a user and a department to a workstation, so the heading 'Assign User and/or Department' shouldn't have the word 'and' on it. I would love to assign a user and also report by department. Why doesn't this work for me? Am I doing it wrong Am on build 7008. TIA Rich

Hello all, I am currently testing out the Appmanager software and so far everything looks great :). However, i did have a few questions. Has there been any testing or reported issues with installing Appmanager on Windows Server 08 64bit? Also when will support for monitoring windows server 2008 be added? I noticed that vista is listed and selecting vista appears to correctly monitor windows server 08. When if ever will support be added to use a standalone SQL server as opposed to mysql? Thanks in
Issue with restore database
My DB server was crashed yesterday and I want restore ServiceDesk on another server. I have backup MS SQL database ServiceDesk only, but I never create backup use ServiceDesk possibility. And when I restore MS SQL backup system don't work. Who know what I need to do?
