Is there a way to set up the MSSQL monitors so that when a threshold is hit it will show an alarm of Attention and send out en email to the Attention profile if it hits the next threshold of trouble that it sends it out an email to a Trouble profile and if it hits a critical threshold to send out an email to a Critical profile?

ICMP only, no SNMP
Hi, we�ve a lot devices (i.e. Servers) which we don�t want to monitor with SNMP. Periodical checks with ICMP would be sufficient. But if i�ll add a device manually (Admin -> Add Device) at the OP-Probe i have to configure SNMP Parameters. It seems theres is no possibility to add a device without SNMP Parameters?

Do you have any reports in OpManager which can give me a list of unmanaged URL's / Servers / Interfaces in OpManager. Its difficult to track changes when multiple administrators make changes in OpManager and for example a server is left unmanaged without another administrator knowing it. You have any ways by which this can be tracked?
AIX Monitoring - Problem with Memory Utilization

Asset Expiry Date not showing in asset listing
Does anyone know how to show the Expiry Date for an asset when viewing assets in the table/grid format. The customize view only gives the ability to show Lease Expiry, but Lease Expiry is not a field I can populate when editing an asset. I have expiration dates on security devices and want to be able to see the dates from the grid view.
Calculations in custom report
I need to create a SLA report that will calculate how long it took to close the request, and by how much time over or under the SLA was the request closed. The maximum time spent by a technician, the minimum time spent, and the average time spent by technician. So say if the SLA is 24 hours and the ticket was closed in 20 hours then the technician was under the SLA by -4 hours. Solution Attachment Edit
Any way to edit the attachment and save directly back to the solution? At present, the only method I see is to save to a temporary location then delete and re-attach - seems cumbersome. Thanks

It would be jolly nice to have a built in NTP server to sychronise things I can't discover a network in OpManager 7 172.18.4.0/30, I just get a message that the mask is incorrect The networks map doesn't show my network correctly, it would be really nice to be able to move things around and put in the links that are missing. Software Licensing
Can anyone give me tips on how best to use the software licensing feature? I have 350 applications, many of which are used by many hundreds of computers. If I create a license for each of these, I would have thousands of individual licenses. Is this normal? I would prefer to have a single license that can be allocated to a number of machines, but I don't see this as an option. I would appreciate everyone's feedback!

Custom template - only first two line are executing
Folks, I have a custom template to change some of the config parameters on a cisco router. When I run it, DE reports successful execution, but when I look at execution report (and at actual config on the router), it looks like only the first lines are executing. It would be nice if we could utilize our existing TroubleTicket system - we'd still supply the host, username & password, as well as an insert statement that could be filled in with variables from AppManager.
setting up new asset management
What we are trying to setup, would be to have the assets assigned by room/cube. So we can go in add a room, then inside that room, put what computer they have, phone, printer, etc.. So when we have to change something in that room all we have to do is change one thing instead of re-entering all the information. We would also like to know if we would have the ability to run a summary report that would print out what each cube has in it for our records.
SP2 Reports - why change them?
I have just tested the upgrade to build 7200 and I see the All Servers Availability Report has been changed from giving total downtime in hrs/min to %. How can I get the hrs/mins report back as 0.377% is meaningless compared to 36min, 16sec. I also notice the data doesnt match eg 7025 - gives up time % as 99.532%, 7200 gives 99.623% So what else have you changed. Unless there is a problem with the reporting can you keep these the same, happy for you to add extra report types so if people prefer %
Server reports CPU Memory and Disk Only available for a day
These reports display data if I view today or yesterday. If I view the last 7 days and more I get no data available. I need longer trending. I also get no data available for thr Volumes with Most Free Space and Volumes with Least Free Space reports no matter what time frame I select. What is the resolution?

Scheduled Drive_Space Report
When scheduling a drive_space report within opmanager the format within the PDF and excel spreadsheet which is email is all over the place in terms of the servers. I logged a request with Opmanager last year around october 2007 and the promised about 3 months ago that this would be sorted out. This is still a outstanding bug. Hi, Has anyone managed to work out how to return the last conversation into a report? Our clients would like to see the last action against a request, be it by our reps or themselves, as part of a weekly report of open requests. I can't see any way to select this information from the report fields and the database is a real pig to navigate through so I wondered whether anyone else had managed this using a query report? Feature Request -- Announcements to All Contacts
Hey Hey, It would be GREAT if SC+ had the option to send an Announcement to all Contacts or Accounts (selectable). Further to that -- being able to add an attachment to those emails would be an excellent feature, as well. Having a complete history of Announcements available to Contacts would be good, as well. I have a MySQL monitor setup, and it seems to be running the command "show table status from `mysql`". How do I get it to check the server for corrupt tables, and report those that are corrupt?

File System Monitor monitors the changes in the selected files and directories like the size of the file or the % change in file size or the modification date. Close Change via custom status
Hello, As far as I can see right now a change cannot be closed until the status has been set to "completed". Is it possible to close the RFC using a custom status? I would like an RFC to close when the custom status of "failed" as been selected. I've tried setting the status to "failed" and then closing the change under the task menu, but the status reverts to completed. Thanks Rosa
