Opmanager does not collect data
Hi all, There are some problems that i'm facing with OPmanager although i dont know if the problem is Opman itself. Whenever i install opm it doesnt see all of the servers. The weird thing is that when i uninstall it and reinstall it it sees the ones that it didnt and cannot see the ones that once did see. It cannot collect data for the graphs (CPU etc) and cannot distinguish the OS of the servers. The version i use is 6015. No firewall is on the servers, SNMP settings are fine. Could there be a

It seems OPManager storing interface statistics in two table IF* (IFRAW) and IFHC* (IFHCRAW). For some devices its storing in IF* and for others in IFHC*. If i want to read data how to identify the table to be read. Thanks, Ravi

Moving to different server
Hi everyone Ive been trying to migrate OpManager to a different server without much luck. The new server has a different name and different IP address. Currently running SDP 7020 on XPP. What would be the recommended path to update to SDP 7501? Can I update straight to 7501? or Should I update to 7022 then to 7501? or Should I wait for 7502?

Service Desk Logon
I have my service desk set to authencate through active directory and I have it set to scan computers within active directory as well. Now when a user tries to logon to the help desk they have to choose logon to (domain). There are three choiced (mydomain), workgroup, and local. I saw that in the domain scan it has (mydomain) and workgroup. I removed workgroup from the domain scan and that removed it from the logon so the users no longer have to select (mydomain) but now 24 hrs later workgroup is

I would like to list all my print cartridges within the servicedesk so that all technicians can view the current stock level and amend as appropriate, I would also like servicedesk to automatically notify me when my stock levels reach a predefined level so that i can maintain a working stock level. Hi everybody, Do you know if we still get support on versions before 7.5? I was working with AdventNet on an issue with the AD import function. 7022 - Cannot login via AD
Hi All, We just upgraded from 7019 to 7022. After the upgrade, users cannot login. We are using AD authentication but not AD passthrough, and there is only a single domain. Initially, when the login screen comes up, you can click "options" and select our domain name. However, when either the username or password fields are filled in, the system reverts to "local authentication" and no longer displays our domain as a choice. Frankly, I can't find my local admin password, so I cannot get into the system
Peaks in Graphs and Raw-Data
Hi there, we are currently using the Free Version of NetFlowAnalyzer with a Cisco 12000 with 2 Interfaces. We have different counters, one of our Provider, one via SNMP (Cacti) and of course the one with netflow. Normally we have about 50MBit - shown on all Graphs. But in last time we get as much requests that parts of our network is down (DOS). We can identify the source IPs an taking action against. But if I look at the Graphs in the netflow analyzer, there are many big peaks. All other Graphs/Coutners
Directory searches
Whenever we perform a task that requires searching the directory it takes a while to populate the objects in the OUs. Is there anyway to cache this information or speed up the application when it searches the domain? This seems to be the only drawback that I see in the application.

Upgraded from 7007 to 7012 now: Supportcenter fetches from mail account but does not process it as a trouble ticket. It just dissappears. Any ideas??
Soon to expire report
When I manually the report about soon to expire users, I get "No reports available", which is fine because I don't have any soon to expire users. When I schedule this report to run, it generates a PDF file that is a blank page (because there are no users set to expire). Shouldn't it at least say "no users found" instead of being blank? These reports goto non-IT personell who don't understand what a blank page means. Thanks.

No events showing on the dashboard
We have installed the Event Log Analyzer 5 and it is connecting to a SQL 2005 64bit DB on a 64bit 2008 Server. We have selected the eventlog entries that we want to monitor but nothing shows up in the dashboard. Everything shows 0 and there are no graphs showing events yet everything is showing as green and looks connected. I have checked that the database user has dbo and I have checked the ports and they look fine and also that the firewall isn't blocking it. Anyone have any ideas or had a similar

Buld 7501 issues - Pass through Authentication
Hi, Just upgraded to 7500 then 7501 and with both versions i an unable to log out as the current user and log in as a new user, mainly me the administrator. We use Active directory Authentication with Pass through authentication. If i disable Pass-Through i can log out then log in as anyone. So it seems you need to be logged in as the Service desk user to view there own page. Any ideas? Thanks Lev

Difficult decision, App Manager or Op Manager
Greetings, I'm new to your line of products as I'm currently running a demo of both your App Manager and Op Manager. More then likely I'll end up purchasing both as combined they have what I need, but I'm bummed as it really seems these two products need to be merged into one main product. They have numerous overlap BUT each product also has a unique feature that the other one is really missing. I have a script that backs up the OpManager database every night. It was working until now, only thing that has changed was upgraded from 7xxx to 7200. pix interfaces not reporting stats
hi-- i added our pix firewalls ( snmp looks good, blue star on icon ) and it detects the 2 interfaces installed, but no stats. I've tried removing the interfaces and rediscovering them, removing the device, re-adding the device, but nothing. Am i also supposed to see the interface IP address under the device details? and it still discovers as desktop ( tho it fills in the correct pix model and IOS ). thx
Monitor Files Older Than X Days on Windows?
