I have over a thousand entries I need to modify, is there a way to make these edits in bulk instead of clicking each one? Example, location in all these entries needs to be Mississippi. How can I do that to all entries at once?

Hello. Using FW Analyzer 5: Running traffic report sorted by hits or volume, I occasionally observe hyper-active hosts on my intranet. Wish to anticipate my observations by means of alerts. Have not found the way to configure alert profile to react to a single, yet not pre-defined source. Speaking in numbers, assume my intranet is 172.16.0.0/16 with some 500 hosts. I am not particularly keen on trapping any particular host (as you demonstrate it in examples) nor creating as many alert profiles as
changing text in trap processor
I want to change message text in trap prpcessor for linkdown trap. I know the way how I can include informations from trap(interface index, type...). But, I want to include interface description, text set with "description" command in cisco routers. I have that information in device page in opmanager(in interfaces). I tried with variables($AgentMO, $SourceMO $IF-SourceMO...) but I cannot find the way for this problem solution. Is anybody who can help ?
Unable to edit/delete credential settings with special character in name
Dear all, I've created a credential with name 'AT&T SNMP' and I cannot edit / delete it. I assume it's because character '&' is not supported (but no check when creating). How can i solve this issue ? thank you, Christophe
Screensize and notification templates
Hello, Could you please fixed screen size for the replies. This screen is still to small in height and it requires constant scrolling. It is getting annoying and I hoped you had fixed this by now (since multiple people reported it and I guess it can be changed in like max 2 minutes). Please change this soon. Interfaces Not Found
i have configured all interfaces on 4 routers to export flows , unfortunately not all interfaces were recognized by the netflow ! i have no idea why would that happened specially after i have put the same commands on all interfaces !

PO# Start From to Include Text
Can we please have this changed to allow TEXT, so it can increment the Purchase Orders following our PO Book. eg All our PO's for our department Start with ITM-(Purchase Order #) SDP will not allow it to auto increment with having ITM- in the admin field (We can add it manually to the PO) but who wants to do that, and on top of that we have to check what PO we were up to.
email requests arrive with no subject nor requester
ServiceDesk version 7.0.0, build 7017 Just now set up inbound email fetching. POP server is an AIX box. Send an email to the helpdesk email account on that box. Upon fetch, a request is created, and the body of the email is loaded as the body of the request, but instead of the email's subject as request subject, we get "Not Provided" as a request subject. problems upgrading 7022 to 7.5
Hello, We are experiencing some difficulties upgrading from 7022 to 7.5. We wanted to upgrade from 6.0 to 7.5. Everything went fine till the upgrade from 7022 to 7.5. We tested 7022 and that version was ok. But with the update procedure to 7.5 we got an error saing the data could not be backed up. We then used the backupdata.bat and mssql to backup our data.The next thing we did was an reinstall of sd+. - stop sdp service - uninstall servicedesk - delete database from mssql - delete the local installation
Solutions - the editor is just going crazy
After the new layout for Solutions the Editor is hopless. The Bulleted lists, line spaces, some fonts etc. looks fine in editing mode, but is disappearing when saving. We are now working with the Configuration Management and this is very, very, very confusing. We can't go on with this any longer, I was sure it would be fixed in 7509. Waiting...
Linux Router expoerting netflow/sflow - problems setting traffic directions
Hi all, We're currently testing NFA in a simple setup. We have a linux router configured with two interfaces: eth0 & eth1 eth0 (ifindex2) is the external interface providing internet access to a local lan connected to eth1 (ifindex 11). eth0 performs SNAT (masquerade) on all outgoing connections coming from eth1. (and DNAT the other way around) The setup looks like this: Internet - eth0 - eth1 - local lan We've played with several netflow/sflow agents: "fprobe", "fprobe-ulog", "softflowd" and "sflsp"
AD import - exceptions for specific accounts/groups?
Hi is it possible to restrict or add an exception list to the user list that is imported from AD On our AD configuration we have Exchange mailboxes listed as user accounts and at the moment these accounts are being imported into Service Desk is there any way that I can control what AD data is imported? Ability to Search Subaccounts
We really need the ability for the Account Search function to also search Subaccounts. We use Subaccounts extensively, but are not able to search for them by using any criteria. Is this something that can be corrected easily? Ken

I an trialling the Desktop Central and I am getting the message Agent version is not compatible, whem I try to connect to a pc. I have already installed the agent on that pc but still no luck. Have I missed anything?

Emails that generate tickets, is it possible to auto complete some field types?
Hi If an email comes into the Service Desk from a specific address (i.e mailserver has blocked an attachment) is it posssible to set criteria so that some of the fields in the ticket are auto completed? (.eg call type, priority, etc) Or is this not possible and the only solution is for the technician to manualy configure the ticket. I would like to be able to do this for specific types of emails that are generated on a regular basis from a specific address regards

Windows explorer crash on Applications Manager installation server
Kind Sirs, we found that if we launch MS Internet Explorer using "Start Web Client" from the Windows Tray Icon, then if we try opening "My Computer" or any other call of explorer.exe, then explorer.exe crashes. Workaround: if you shut down the IE just launched by Applications Manager, then explorer.exe does not crash anymore. Hope you can fix this problem with the given indications. Best regards
Editing UPS Snapshot Dials
Hi, I want to edit the dial graphs in UPS snapshot view, because we use a UPS which has no standard template in OM. I know that I can edit snapshot dials from other categories in /conf/opmanager_snapshot_dial.xml, but the UPS snapshot view is structured in another way than the other snapshots (special "UPS Status" section). My tests to integrate custom monitors as a dial graph (type=number) failed. So, can you tell me, how to configure/change/delete the dial graphs in UPS snapshot view? Best regards

Monitor/Confirm WMI is operational
We have recently experienced an issue in which a server that was previously being monitored successfully with WMI started experiencing issues getting WMI responses. The net affect was that the OPManager kept displaying the last recevied status of those monitors (ie All good). However with WMI no longer working we were not able to identify that services were infact stopped and there was no error to advise of an issue. Is there any way we can monitor that the monitors being applied to a device are
turning off a windows event log alarm

Notification profile not working with only an event log alarm
Hello, We have a server where we place a notification profile based on when an event in the server's log occurs. The notification profile works when you test it but not when the server experiences the issue. The server does trigger the alarm in OpManager, but the notification profile is not triggered when the event actually occurs. Thanks for any help... LeRoy
Opmanager Panic Attack
Hello, Every so often (its quite random in fact) Opmanager has a panic attack and sends out an alert for every device that it manages/monitors, this is obviously not good and not something we can live with. Has anybody experienced anything similar ?? We are using version 8 Build 8021, no plugins Scott.
Adjusting time till data is loaded into mysql.
I have a custom monitoring solution that uses the data stored within the mysql database and has been working great. But the 10 min delay between raw data importing into Mysql has been causing us issues. Is there any modifications that can be done to adjust or even remove this delay (performance issues aside)?
Netflow Analyzer 7 Professional Post Crash Problem
We currently have Netflow Analyzer 7 Professional running on a windows 2003 R2 SP2 server. A couple of days ago we discovered that Netflow had crashed. When you tried to access the Netlfow Analyzer web-console you got an "Apache Tomcat 404 error". Starting the Netlfow Analyzer console from the servers start menu shortcut caused the browser to hang and not display a window. The "ManageEngine Netflow Analyzer 7" service was still running on the server and we were able telnet to the Netflow web-server
"Jump To" Link not working on Neflow after changing Opmanager from HTTP to HTTPS
Dear Support Team, Ever since chaning the Opmanager from HTTP to HTTPS, the "jump to" link from Netflow Server to Opmanager no longer works. When clicking on the button, the link refers to null://nms.xxx.eu:443/overview.do?selectedTab=Home. How can I remote the null and change it to https so that this link finally works again? Techinicians are no longer Requestors in Build Number : 7505
When creating a new request the Technician is no longer listed in the Requester List. When entering the Technician name in the requestor field the associated AD attributes (contact number, department, etc.) are populated in the the new request but it will not create the request see error below: "The user belongs to a site other than you have access to. You cannot create a request for this user." The Technician belongs to the sites. We have Technicians that are Requesters for 2nd & 3rd level support.
[BUG] MS SQL Transactions per second monitor
When you click the link for this monitor the counter for each database is listed for "Today" but if you change that to say last 24 hours the names of the databases for the counters disappears and is replaced with the name of the server for every counter.

SD Server has multiple ip addresses. Server is registering to wrong ip.
