Announcement Templates
I have already made this request privately, however I thought I would post it here as well to see who else thinks this would be a useful feature:
Description:
The "announcement" feature in SDPlus is not bad, however it is far too simple for our requirements. What is needed is the ability to create WYSIWYG HTML templates that can be selected. Currently, we send these notifications out using email templates similar to the following:

PLANNED OUTAGE
There is currently an outage with XXXX Production affecting
the user community at the following time:
31.07.09 5pm – 10pm
Note that during the outage, XXXX Production will be unavailable.

We have tried - you simply cannot cut-and-paste effectively into the description section of the notification page like you can with a Service Request. It doesn't work.
If we could create notification templates in the admin module, then select them from a drop down box, THAT would make notifications REALLY useful! I can't imagine it would require too much of a change to the way SDPlus operates.
One Further thing: I understand the notifications can be made available through either an XML feed or SQL query. Is this correct? If so, are there any instructions on how to do this?
