Issue OPManager to add monitor - process - windows services

CSV Import issue
Hello. When i import CSV ( saved from excel) having multiple line (fields like Street) we cant import the file. It is showing error in CSV file. Adding Member Of attribute for a user report...
Hi, Our client has asked for the inclusion of the 'Member of' column in the 'Recently logged on Users' report and also that the last 'x' days field be changed into a date range. Is this possible? If I add a new column based on the Memberof AD attribute the column does not display anything while in a group related report this is available in the list of columns and displays data. Thanks. sk
Ldap attribute for never logged on report
I want to add the description attribute to display in our never logged on report. I have added it as below but no information comes through into the report... Display Name : LDAP Name : Data Type : Unicode String Integer Boolean Large Integer Associated Reports : User Groups Computer Exchange I have also tried added without the %% marks. If i add the default field for description to the all users report it shows fine.

In the SoM if you have imported the OU's that all your PC are in when joined to the domain is it one time or does it look for adds and removals? I would like to think that you can setup a container to look for realtime numbers on your domain. -Rich
MSSQL database removed alarm
One of the database in MSSQl deleted. But Applications Manager keep show alarm about database removed. How can I remove the alarm manuelly? Even I set as clear, and it will appear the alarm after few minutes.

Routing protocol reporting
Does Netflow analyzer professional 7.x support reporting for traffic on routing protocols such as ospf and eigrp? We do not see these protocols reported for interfaces running ospf. Is this data not exported in the netflow v5/v9 reports? We have tried using both v5 and v9. I assume that you can differentiate the traffic in v5 flows by the destination address of 224.0.0.5 or 224.0.0.6 (for ospf), however I do not see any netflow traffic reports destined to these multicast addresses either. Multiple Interfaces on Interface View
I configured netflow on one port of a router and when i open up NetFlow Analyzer and looked at the rotuer it shows three interfaces that it is monitoring. All interfaces have inbound and outbound traffic. Why is three interfaces showing up when i only configured one on the router?

Currently I have a created a new monitor for a temperature alert device. I was able to create a new Type (Sensatronics) but I had to list it under a random vendor(3Com) and category (Desktop) since I don't see the option to create my own vendor and categoryu?
Contract>Enable Notification - is it possible to customize template??
When a contract expires you can have it send notification... Q: Is it possible to adjust the template used? In my case each account can have duplicate items, Support Center currently will not allow overlapping subscription times so I am forced to put the start and end date as the same day (I put in the end day of the contract in both fields to work around this short coming). Hi, After update my Opmanager to SP3 and SP4, all interfaces of all my routers GONE. In DashBoard the real time traffic show normal, but all the graphs and the interfaces does not work. Report for re-opened requests
I am trying to find a way to report on requests that were re-opened. I notice in the History tab it has the line "Status changed from Resolved to Open". Is there a way to query the history for that line? Is there a better way? I don't know anything about querying SQL so I apologize and would appreciate any help.
Monitoring additional Proc, Memory & disk monitors using OpManager8
Hi We are currently using OpManager 7 & are in the process of evaluating OpManager 8 (build 8025) for Windows server monitoring. In addition to CPU, disk & memory utilization, we are trying to monitor some additional parameters like Disk Queue Length, Memory monitors (Pages per Second & Page Faults) & Processor monitors (Processor time & Idle Time). We are able to monitor CPU Utilization, Disk Utilization & Memory Utilization, however the other additional monitors mentioned above do not seem to
Escalation based on technician
We are moving to ServiceDesk Plus from TrackIt and so far are very happy, but we have one issue. We heavily used TrackIt's escalation based on technician and I can not find how to accomplish this with ServiceDesk Plus. I need to setup a rule so that if a tech does not finish a work order by it's due date their supervisor get a notification, then after 24 hours if its not resolved their supervisors director gets notified. Domain user automatically in member of field
Hi, I am user a template to create a user account. In the template we only have one field in the "Member of" which is "AGuser". When an account is created and the template above is used, in the Member of field "AGuser" is shown as well as"Domain user" is automatically entered. The "Domain user" is not in the template. Email content not appearing in job requests when sent from Outlook client users
Hi everyone, We are currently experiencing an issue with job requests displaying the subject line but not the body of an email which has been sent to service desk manageengine. This only happens when the email is sent from an Outlook client (we also run lotus notes and this is fine). Has anyone experienced this before and what was the fix? Thanks

about "Rediscover Now"
Dear All, I had monitored some remote server, these servers didn't set SNMP before. Now I got the right, install and set SNMP agent in them. then I changeed the credential ticket(test passed), I hoped the addtional information(CPU, mem and HD usage) for those existing systems would be collected. But after one day, I didn't see the addtional informaiton. So I try to "Rediscover Now", I got some correct information for the server(such as Sys Desc. Type etc.). but I still can't get the information
Issue with Opmanager 8040
Since updating Opmanager to 8040 the schedule reports have stop working. This happened a while ago where the clases folder was sent to correct this problem. Please can you resolve this issue asap.
After the Upgrade of Opmanager 8 to SP4
After installing the SP4 my Domain controllers have problems with the CPU monitoring. The CPU Utilization is using the SNMP OID: AD.OS.Total.PercentProcessorTime in stead of SNMP OID: .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2. That means that i always receive error because the total is around 100% and not the current 1% How can i solve this

I'm testing OpManager for my company if used for network monitoring... but I'm fail to monitor the server even WMMI/SNMP... 1) Vista Server 2) XP PC (Installed OpManager 8.0) (Running in same Workgroup instead of Domain) On Vista server, I've enabled SNMP service, Setting: Logon tab - acount set on "Network Service" Trap tab - added Community "public" Security tab - added Community "public" and added XP PC IP on "Accept SNMP packets from these hosts" On XP PC, OpManger, I can monitor the Vista server
E-mail has no real text, just says adssp.xml.notification.pwd_expiry_subject

Is it possible to install multiple copies of the web server with only on backend database?
We would like to install a web server to present the SDP MSP user interface to our customers on thier site/network but the database to be located on a server that is on our site(for security reasons. This will need to be done for multiple customers. so a backend Database server with the SDP MSP database installed on our network and the java/web server to be in stalled on multiple sites (belongiong to customers) but able access the central database with us through a VPN. hope this is clear :)
technician admin rights
It's great that you refined technician rights. However, I would like to give a technician rights to edit requesters but cannot see contracts. Besides SDSiteAdmin (SDAdmin is out of the question) I don't find any possibility to access the "Admin" tab. i.e.: I would like that some technicians have the rights to access the "Admin" tab, but not to access "Contract" tab, for example. Unable to install into x86 folder of Windows Server 2003 64-bit machine
I attempted to install AppManager into the standard c:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine folder on my server but it gave me the 'non english characters' error. Why isn't () considered english? I don't like having to install the program into the 64-bit Program Files folder since it's running in 32-bit. This needs to be fixed.
Tracking non incident related tasks
Hello, I have been using servicedesk for around a month and was wondering how to effeciently track non request related items. We currently use access to track workflow but would like to use service desk to track all items (tasks, requests, etc) Can I use the task feature to generate reports to track time spent on non-request related items?
