Site not filling for requests submitted via API
We're using the API interface to submit tickets from our Software Installation Self Service system to SD+. We're using the "Operation=AddRequest" function, and we're using the "RequesterEmail" value to identify the requester. However, the "Site" is not filling in for the requester, therefore our site-based rules are not being engaged. Is this a known bug with the API interface?
Upgrade Issue from SDP Build 7022 to 7500
We are looking to upgrade our SDP from build 7009 to 7605. When we go from 7022 to 7500, our asset list has issues. All of the assets that were servers are now lumped in with the workstations. Also I get an ajax error stating that an object is required when I try to add a new product under Admin. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? HTTP Status 404
I am having an issue with task notifications not linking correctly. We are getting the HTTP Status 404 error. The link is pointing to the server via IP address and then servername all in the same link when we click it. However the text of the link is ok. We can copy and paste it with success. thanks

Approval notification - after specific number of recomendations
Hi Currently when a change is created the CAB approver will not approve the change until a specific number of people have recommended it. They check back into the change every hour or so to check if the recomendations have been given.. a time consuming task. I would like to set up a notification to the approver once the relevant number of recomendations have been given... is that possible? Ta Steph..

This seemed to have just surfaced after our upgrade, but email responses created from within Service Desk seems to be adding about 5 extra lines before the begining of the typed email response. Is this something that is configurable? John
How to authenticate from OpManager to AD enabled SDP?
Hi, I'm trying to set up integration between OpManager and Servicedesk plus but I 'm having problems with the authentication in the OpMgr "Add-On/Products Settings" section. ServiceDesk Plus is set up with Active Directory authentication, hence I need to specify the logon account name, logon domain, and password. HELP! OpManager MSSQL database problem
Hi, I am having several problems since March 22. I am unable to delete or clear alarm messages for any device. Can Not Successfully Create Event Log Rule
I am new to OpManager 8. After reviewing the user guide online I created a new Event Log Rule and associated it with my Server. However when the event is triggered I do not see an alert on my dashboard or revive a notification. I have SNMP and WMI configured correctly and tested. I also receive notifications from other alerts. I have attached screen shots of how i have OpManager Configured. I am sure that I am doing something incorrectly. Thanks in advance.

SQL query string for 'resource cost'
Can someone please assist me with an MS SQL query string that will return the 'resource cost' for an asset as part of a custom report? I've tried using the 'COST' column from the 'ResourceCost' table but I can't seem to get the right string syntax to produce the output. I keep getting variants of the 'Invalid column name' error. CAT OS and IOS
Although we can 'see' Cisco IOS, we cannot see CATOS. We have tried to upload a MIB, but just fails with nothing special to report (ie helpful). We have a fair bit of equipment that needs this.
After restarting the OpManage application the app is stuck requesting to repair the DB
Tried several times to start OpManager but it fails and suggests repairing the DB. RepairDB.bat runs fixes issues and then problem starts over again

User Can Override Domain Password Policy and change password as much as he wants
Hi, We are experiencing a problem where users can simply override domain password policy by accessing selfservice URL and click on reset password link. our domain password minimum age is set to 2 and password history to 8, and the reset password function doesn't comply with this even if the password policy is displayed in the page. Any suggestion?

Suppressing alarms from Fa interfaces going up/down

ServiceDesk Plus v7605 Testing Issues Thread
If you are like me, you test all updates to SDP in your development environment as thoroughly as possible before going live in production. I am starting this thread as a central location for us (the SDP customers/Admins) to record issues we run across when testing the latest version of SDP. My thinking is more heads are better than one and if one of us is having an issue, there is a good possibility that others will as well. At the least, recording the issue here will give other SDP Admins a “heads-up”
Missing Event Log Rules
We recently noticed that we now can only see Application and Security Event Log when trying to create a new event log rule. We are missing System and any other event log monitoring. I know that these existed before, but cannot determine how long this has been a problem. How can we get the standard System Event Logs back? Issue when contact uses different email address to reply to ticket
Hi, I've noticed that when a contact responds to a ticket from a different email address to that registered in SC, notifications aren't sent as they should be. Also, I need to click on View ALL conversations to see their emails. I know it's probably a bit strange that a contact is using different emails addresses to reply from, but is this just me, or is this something that others have problems with? I can see why it's doing it, but it'as annoying that I have to keep checking the helpdesk,
Feature request that has been ask about in past and not heard about again
I have asked in the past on things I had in Opmanager 6 that made this product great but lost with the newer version. Some feature were just missing all together.
