We have implemented Desktop Central and it is working very well great job.

However we have just been audited with SOX guidlines and one thing I am getting a lot of pressure on is that the agent is a manuall installation (meaning human error or firewalls etc could play a roll in some systems not being update). I would like to see some kind of sync to active directory to include and automated install of the agent.

This of course would require the agent to be able to understand if it is on a 192.168.2.0 network to pull updates from that distribution server. This is how McAfee works with EPO server and it satisfies the "automation" requirement of SOX.

Would this be in scope with any enhancements you may be working on or road mapped out sometime in the near future?
