List View Page Size
When viewing customer equipment in "List View" there is an option for Page size, where the default is 100. When this is changed to a page size that allows all of the customer equipment to show on a single page the display is fine. If you drill down to the customer device, the "List View" reverts back to the default page size, which is 100. How can we get this to remain at the chosen page size until the end user is ready to change it back to 100? Is there a way to change the default size for all users
Vendor Field - Hardware/Software?
Hi, The Vendor field in snapshot page - does it reflect to server hardware vendor? or OS vendor? Those my windows servers display the field as "Microsoft". Unable to restore a backup to a different server
We need to move our SD to another server. We upgraded SD at our old server to v.7.6 b. We also installed the same latest version to a new server. Hi, I would like to know whether OpManager to support in managing Cluster Server. Now i have added 2 physical server and 1 virtual host server into OpManager. For this, do i need 3 device license? As all of us aware, some of services / application will run based on the virtual host which managed by the cluster. RedirectURL setting
Hi, When upgrading to 7606, a parameter was added to the globalconfigs table for REDIRECTURL which I could set to false so that I could have full access to the servicedesk when I used my iPhone to access it. After upgrading to the latest release (7608), it seems that has been removed again? Can I manually add this back in to stop the annoying forced use of a mobile version that lets me do very little? HIPAA Compliance Report - $ usernames
Hello, I am trying to evaluate this program on whether or not to purchase. I really like the built-in reports for HIPAA compliance. The only problem is that I am getting over 4000 successfull logons per hour, where mostly they are the workstation usernames that end in "$". Is there anyway to filter them out? I have tried different logic with the database filters, and even creating my own report (which seemed to possibly work, but it included the whole log instead of the one line log that the HIPAA

Hi, Im getting "invalid username/password" error when query device for custom eventlog. From the log file (stderr), its stated as below. 80070005 - Access is denied: While getting WMI data from <servername> for SELECT Version FROM Win32_OperatingSystem From the device snapshot page, i verify the credential are correct and i have no problem retrieve data for performance monitoring. Hello, I am looking into the OpManager product for both SNMP Polling and Netflow collection. I have a question about discovery and polling. I have seen CPU spikes on network devices that may have been caused by an SNMP poll or discovery. Is there any way to limit what is polled or discovered by OpManager both manually and automatically? File Monitor -> Last modification
Hi, we use a special backup, that exports data every day in one specified file. We tried to use the OpManager file monitor to check the success of our backup, but the problem is, that the file monitor only checks the date, when the file was created. What we need is to check the date, when the file was modified. Is there any possibility to handle this? Thanks, Dennis
Unable to add Monitor OID with index value
I am trying to add a monitor to a device template. The MIB for the monitor in question references an index value. There are multiple sensors of the same type, in this case temperature sensors for an APC UPS. To get data for a specific sensor, I need to reference the index value of the probe in the OID. How do I change the SNMP OID value for the monitor to add an index? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Event Log server ip address changed to 127.93.94.95? since changing to virtual server
Using EventLog analyzer v6 build 6001. We have switched this server from a physical server to vmserver. The eventlog is reporting the EventLog server IP address as 127.93.94.95 and is listening on port 513,514. When I use the server diagnostic option, its states the real ip address 10.x.x.x. The 10.x.x.x is the correct address. Can you suggest how I could correct this problem as no servers are logging to the server. I have also logged this as support request using the online form. Memory Leak
I have build 8052 and it appears to have a memory leak which happens about every 3 days of continous running. I restart the service for OpManager and my problem goes away for another few days. I need to get this resolved.
Technicans closing tickets without resolving
Would I always want a technician to set the ticket status to resolved before closing? If so how can I do this? I have a technican who closes the ticket instead of setting it to resolved and letting the user decide if it is closed. Is there a better way of handling this? Mitch

cannot forward mail containing an image
Hi When sending a mail from a request (by clicking forward or reply button underneath the request desciption), and when the description of the request is containing an image, we get a 'Sending notification failed.' error. The mail is not sent then. We have to remove the image from the mail. The mail is sent out then. Thanks for any help Marc

Change Primary Server Address In Application Manager
Hi, I'm trialling Application Manager 9 on Amazon EC2. When I start a new instance on EC2 it comes up with a new IP address. Unfortunately AppManager still references the IP address of the original instance I used to setup and configure AppManager. So when startApplicationsManager.sh is called it hangs with "contacting primary server...". Can someone tell me how to change the primary server address please? I've got a DNS record setup now so hopefully I can just point AppManager at backoffice.mydomain.com
Canon MIB's
Two things. Firstly i am looking for the MIB's to monitor a Canon Image Runner. Font changes per row in list
Currently in several table columns in OpUtils our font changes between rows. For example, under Network Monitor, for the Status and Last Update Time columns (not limited to these, though) the font changes from a serif font to a sans-serif/round font on every other line. How can I make the font consistent in all rows of all tables universally in the program?

On a request page technicians are shown relevant requester details (name, telephone, asset, etc); however it would be useful for them to be able to see site information for where the requester is based as well (for example, we keep the ADSL line number and router IP in the "Fax" and "Web URL" sections). Cluster monitoring
I need to monitor our file-print cluster with OpManager, mainly for disk usage, CPU, memory etc. Is there an "easy" way to do this? At the moment I've set up the each node of the cluster as an individual server, and set each one up to monitor the resources that are currently hosted by that node. But every time a shared resource moves to a different node, I have to go in and manually change all the alerts to point at the right nodes.
