Does anyone know if Firewall Analyzer supports reporting on MS TMG 2010? If yes, could it also import from SQL if using SQL as the logging engine? Thanks in advance for your replies.
Fibre Cards
I have a few servers with Fibre Cards in them connected to Fibre switches and then to a SAN. I would like to monitor the data flow between the servers through the switches to the array but, I can't seem to pick up the fibre cards in the server. Any thoughts on what I need to address?

Dear All, i just want to share our idea about wish feature...think it benefit for u Trend Line Reports+++ this wish feature can provide the trendline on the graph base on the history data. eg. cpu, memory, disk space, etc. It allow us to specify the period we want to forward to. eg. 3 or 6 months. This is so benefit for us to make the capacity planning... :P
Case sensitive usernames
After upgrading to 7504 recently (went through many upgrades at once), I've found that you no longer have to select your domain to logon to. This is a nice feature. However it is picking up the username field as case sensitive and therefore some users only get the option for local authentication after they capitalize something in their name. This seems kinda crazy, is there any way to fix this? Workarounds? Thanks in advance. Jon
Facebook IP Group with IP address range exclusion
Hello, I'm attempting to build an IP group for Facebook, which works fine. However, when I attempt to add an 'exclude' IP address range, then data collection for the group stops altogether. Below is an example of what I'm trying to do. My expectation is the following IP group would capture all traffic to/from the the 'included' IPs (Facebook) except in those cases where the excluded IP addresses are either a source or destination associated with the Facebook IPs. Custom Groups
What is the main purpose of Custom Groups ? I have made Custom Groups from our domain, using Users Group Type and I can see the list contain of our user domain. When I want to use Filter by in Asset Scan, pick Custom Group only Inactive_Users_domainname appear and the Custom Groups I've made are not appear. Is it like that or is there any way to make the Custom Group I've made to be appear ? Is there any way to make Custom Reports and generate using Custom Groups ?
Assets (servers) with multiple IPs
Hi, SD+ 7.6.0 Build 7608 We have servers with multiple IPs on one single NIC. Is there a way to get all IPs listed on the asset? As far as I can see only one IP is listed under "Network Details" on the asset. We run a "network scan" on a IP subnet containing all the IPs that the server has on the NIC, but only one IP is showing up on the asset. The servers is a standard Windows server. Any ideas as to get all the IPs listed? /Ulrik
Sorting Question
We are using OpManager ver. 8052. and a user in our operations group brought this to my attention. We have created an infrastructure view that lists all of our customer premise routers. The issue is that when we make the attempt to Sort By Severity, the expected result is not achieved. What I mean is that when used, that function would list all of the CPE gear that were not responding at the top of the list. Now the list is being sorted but not in that way. Please let me know if this is a known issue
WMI is failed for server/desktop that not join in domain.
Hi OpManager Team, I have 1 server using Windows 2003 that is not joining domain and also 1 desktop using WinXP also not joining domain that i would like to add in OpManager. When i select test the credential the WMI and SNMP is said passed but when i want to use performance monitors for WMI it was failed. Others server that joining domain don't have this issues. Dell OpenManage Chassis Status
We want to use opmanager for monitoring dell hardware. Now the `chassis status ` oid has several status options : .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1.200.10.1.2.1,1=other|2=unknown|3=ok|4=noncritical|5=critical|6=nonrecoverable How can we get opmanager to recognize these status when using it as monitor ? Custom Monitor aving multiple sub-OID
Hi, I have a Juniper switch EX4200. I created a template but I found that the Juniper CPU and Memory OIDs are not leaf but they have sub-OIDs one for each chassis instance: fan, power supply, Routing Engine, Forwarding Engine and so on. Obviously the CPU is applicable only for the RE or FE not for a fan or a powr supply! This is the same for the memory. Getting stats for specific time periods in a scheduled report
Is there any way to specify a timeframe such as 8:00-8:00 in a scheduled report? I can create (and save) a report with an 8:00-8:00 time frame however when I set it up to be scheduled the time frame is over-written with 24 hours as the time frame (because that is the only choice for a scheduled report). I would like to schedule a report that contains the memory stats from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Does anyone know how to do this? I know it can be done manually but I cannot find a way to do when creating
Request Approval
Hi, Let me explain a situation: We need a special type of request regarding adding/modifying or deleting users in the network. As obviously this kind of request needs an approval from a manager. Will be great if we can add a comercial rule for a category (ex. User Administration ) so automatically the systems sends an email to the right approval manager with a link to approve the request. Unable to add MIB for APC UPS
We are trying to configure OpManager to manage an APC UPS and to report environment variables. I have downloaded the latest MIB from APC, but after loading it, I can't access the MIB in OpManager. Every time I try to access it, I get a message "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive". Adding Multiple Licenses to one Piece of Software
Morning Guys & Gals, I'm pretty sure I can't do this but want to check. We have a piece of mining software that has 10 named licenses. However within these named licenses are two categories for different uses which have 5 named licenses each. What I would like is the ability to apply the 10 licenses as per usual to 10 installations of the software. However I would also like to apply another licenses for the sub-category to the same piece of software. Diagram incase that was confusing:
Return Technician to Requester
Is there a way to return a Technician to a standard Requester? We have a user that was a Technician but now he changed jobs. We do not want to lost the Requests that he has under his name however. Is there a way to do this? Thanks Justin
Cisco 1811 + NetFlow Analyzer + NAT
Good Morning, We have a Cisco 1811 router, setup to report internally to Netflow Analyzer. Right now, we are getting duplicate flows for all entries that go through NAT. For example, if someone goes to google, you would see 2 conversations in the internal interface, one from the internal of the computer requesting to the website as well as a entry for the external ip to the website. I would like to use NetViz to produce the infastructure (site, racks, floor) diagrams. all my AD users are unable to login onto servicedesk plus 5.5.0 "error username and password" invalid. I am afraid to loose my data if i have to reinstall the software again bt how can i trouble shoot ths one. Role based access
Dear madam or sir, I really like EventLog Analyzer, BUT. I would like to have roles for users where I can select what a user can see or can't see. For example; My current client doesn't want the engineers to see the Windows security events. In the current version I can't hide that for certain users. Always show the top menu bar(s)
Hello, Is it possible that in the views the top menu bars are always visible? Now if you for instance scroll down in a request the menu tabs (Home, Request, Solutions, Contracts etc) disappear. Then everytime when you want to do something else you have to scroll all the way back to the top. Isn't it possible that the top part is always shown and that the scrolling only takes place from the part where the real issue begins? This would be nice. Unable to raise new ticket
I have been setting up a number of techs who will not have full access to the system (our current techs have the SDAdmin Role). The new techs have a custom made role - 'Standard Tech' and nothing else however, when they try to raise a new ticket, the following error occurs - Request does not fall under your permitted scope.So you are not authorized to update the same Obviously I have some settings incorrect but I don't know what! Delete an unknown server monitor
How do I delete an unknown server? I started an apache monitor for a test and AM additionally set up an unknown server monitor with the same ip address. After the test I deleted the apache monitor but the unknown server monitor is still there and I can’t delete it.

Problems scanning Apple
Trying to scan our Apple computers, and I tried both scanning from the Workstation being entered into the system and also the network scan. However, they both show this error: Connection to RPC server in the workstation failed. Troubleshoot Which is pointing at the Windows Firewall in your troubleshooting steps. Thanks fro the help
Post-hotfix installation error - build 7608
After installing hotfix build 7608, we are intermittently receiving the following error: "Error has occurred during response. Please view the error window for more details." However, it does not spawn an error window. It spawns a new login window or a badly formatted GUI view. There does not seem to be any specific action that is performed. It can be after saving a request or changing values, to just a random pop-up after a period of inactivity on a standard view. Windows Server 2008 - Application
Printing a Request prints only half of the text, because of the scrolling area
When in a Request and navigating to Actions > Print Preview, all the Request-text is being displayed in a scrolling area. Internet Explorer is not capable of printing this inline-scrolling-area correctly. Workaround is, to select the text one wants to print manually. But this is a very unconvenient solution. You should fix the Print Preview-dialog in order not to use any scrolling areas.

I would like to see an additional feature added to SD within notifications that will email group members when a request has been put either on hold or resolved. This will aid in tracking the request to completion.
WOL Problem
I tried deploying image through the network using the bootable media and it was working perfectly. Now I’m trying to deploy the OS using the WOL method. Unfortunately I’m facing problem, when the machine is booted and when the machine is trying to connect to get an IP and connect to the server, it will be stuck and restart the machine. How's SDP hotfix 7608 going for folks?
Hi, The hotfix 7608 has been out for a couple weeks now, and searching the forums returns only a couple of what look like isolated issues. I'd be interested to hear feedback from anyone who has upgraded as I want to upgrade from 7605. Asset population
Currently my firm has 200+ workstations attached to our scan. What we would like to accomplish is to be able to trace from the asset tab any single peice of hardware to a specific machine or workstation. Currently the only items populated in the Asset tabs are assets that have been put through the Purchase Order process. Even after scanning, the system will not populate the asset tab with already distributed computer peripherals. I was wondering if there is anyway to do this? I.E. if Jane Doe has
