Request ID order
When we get a new request it gets ID i.e. 795, after a few hours when a new request is coming in the ID is 798, where are the 2 IDs, 796, 797. Im sure that there is no new request with these numbers.

Why are there still rows in the database for servers that were deleted?
We've deleted several servers from OpManager that no longer need to be monitored. Even though the servers are no longer accessible from the interface, there are still rows in the ProfileCriteria and ThresholdRuleList tables that refer to these servers. Is there a reason why these rows still exist in the database? If not, do you have any utilities that can clean up the database? Thanks, Frank

Schedule netflow security events as reports
Is it possible to scheule a report that can be mailed with the new Security Events that are now in NetFlow? I did not see that option when I went to Reports.
Naming Formats
I create user folders based on a custom attribute which contains a two digit number, sn and givenName. (11LastFirst). Is there a way to have this data (attribute) available to create a naming format. I also use it for sAMAccountName. Also... Am I missing something or is there no way to edit an existing format. TIA, mhowle

Hello, I am just in the process of setting up a proof of concept for OpManager, and am having some issues with SNMP and WMI. I have installed OpManager and have setup one server within OpManager. This server is the same server that OpManager is installed on. This server has SNMP feature enabled. The server is Windows 2008 R2. Just connecting to the public SNMP credential and testing, I get a failed result. When using the MibBrowser and trying to retrieve the SNMP variable of sysDescr I get
Send Notifications based on Priority
I know that it is possible to send email notifications to support reps when new tickets are created. But, I would only like to have notification alerts sent out based on the ticket priority level. If, for example, a Severity 1 ticket is created, than an email or SMS would be sent. A Severity 2 ticket would not trigger the email alert. Is this currently possible?

share products across business units
Is there a way that I can share the product list between business units. I have 2 units running and would prefer to have one list of products. Which I can not see to get. What is even more annoying is if I create a product with the same name as one in another business unit, I get the following: "FAILURE : Product with same name already exists. Please provide different value for Product Name"
Inaccurate Netflow Traffic - Cisco 6500
Hi, We downloaded NFA Trial for Linux and configured our Cisco 6509 with SUP32 running native IOS, Version 12.2(18)SXF15a. We followed the instruction provided, at least I think we did, because it was configured by one of our network engineer. The issue we are having are the following: #1, Traffic gathered on our BGP peers (from interface) is inaccurate, almost doubled compared to Cacti. EX: NFA on Peer A shows 15.73kbps In and 348.56Mbps Out, whereas in Cacti Peer A shows 25.24Mbps In and 163.78Mbps
Asset Import including Resource/Asset State
Hi Is it possible to import assets with asset state included. We are migrating from 3 old Servicedesks into 1 so need to migrate all assets, even disposed and in store but there does not seem to be a way to import this without manually taking additional steps. Regards Mike
GMT Time
Hello, Since upgrading to 7606 my time stamp is an hour out. The time on the windows server is correct, and the time in the top right of the SDP screen is correct, but when adding requests, notes or logs to requests - the time is an hour earlier than the actual time. I have tried adjusting this via the 'Personalize' button, and set the time to 2hrs ahead, and the time stamps are correct for 2hrs ahead, so at the moment its stamping for GMT and not BST even though it says it is.
excel querys
Hi, I'm using MS Excel 2007 for reporting purposes, via ODBC driver to SDP MySQL Database, and i've a problem with dates, cause when i'm in msquery the query returns the data, but when i clic to return to excel it's not anymore. (the entire column dissapear)... I'm usigng the lastest release of sdp. As an example of how i get dates in my querys is: (from_unixtime(wo.CREATEDTIME/1000, '%Y-%m-%d') I hope someone can help! at-a-glance interface reports
When i run the at-a-glance report on a gigabit switch interface the bytes per second cap out at 200k The Mbps show up accurately though at around 750 Mbps. Is there a way i can fix this.

Why is there a requetst form template allowing you to save different request templates when you cannot customise each new template to show specific fields? Is this possible or am I missing some piece of the jigsaw?
Amount of Calls per hour in a day

Cannot change SQL db password in OpManager's db config file
Hi, Im trying to change the database password in OpManager's database configuration file to meet the change made in the SQL server, but im not able to do so as when im trying to save the change it says 'DB with this name already exists'. How to make this thing work. I tried renaming the DB name in SQL but then its not able to create a new DB. Faisal
No incoming messages
We have stopped receiving any incoming messages in SupportCenter Plus. When testing the mail server settings, we get the error message "Email settings saved successfully. But error occurred while trying to check connection with mail server. Problem connecting to mailbox." We're using Version 7.6.0, Build 7607 on POP3, and as far as we know, no server or other settings were changed before the problem occurred. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Products Associated to Contacts
Request is connected with Contact (although I would like to be able to choose to connect to Account) but Product is connected to Account. Problems are usually connected with machines not persons, but there is no connection product-to-request. When looking into Accounts there is a list of requests associated with Contacts, not products. Also, it would be nice if we can group products - say you have only 100 types it is difficult to scroll and find appropriate model.
Allow users access to dashboards
Hello, Running Opmgr 8721. Is it possible to give a read only user access to a specific dashboard? When I setup a RO only account and give him access to a business view, he is unable to see any dashboards. When I give him RO rights to all business views he can than see the dashboards. Issue when schduling a report unable to add separate email addresses.
Have scheduled a disk space report from the report itself but when adding multiple email addresses the report does not get sent. Also if you do this within the schdule report in adminstration it says enter valid email address even tho you have already enter 2 addresses correctly with a ; or ,.

Problem with time
Hi all, I have problem with time on received messages. Time on server is OK, but I get the message with one hour late. This is configuration in Notification Profile: This is mail message: Message: $message Device: $displayName Category: $category Error Condition: $stringseverity Generated at: $strModTime ----------> problem!!!!!!!!! $displayName IP Address: $DeviceField(ipAddress) $displayName For example, I get mail in 12:00, and the Generated time is 11:00!!! hi working whit OpManager, inside the server option we have added some servers whit operating system win 2000 server, win 2003 server and Linux, the fact is that even though the servers have been dropped, the OpManager always identified as up. the test performed was to add these servers but as desktop and now if identify when dropped and when they are up. the OpManager will have some bug in the server section? or whats happen? thanks.
Need to add ALL fields to export tool (Assets)
I have noticed that not all fields which are visible within the application are available in the report/export tool In particular, the "Cost", "Part No." and "Warranty Expiry Date" fields. Would anyone else like to be able to have ALL fields available?
