Use a Port COM from another server to Send SMS in Opmanager 8

I am trying to send SMS alerts using a Port COM from another server that have Kannel, is it possible?
Kannel send SMS with http posts, is possible to have a batch script with the "wget --spider" of the post in case an alert trigger to send sms?
