Managing both On-Domain and Off-Domain PCs with DC?
Our office uses mostly On-Domain PCs, but has a handful of Off-Domain "Guest" PCs that we would like to manage using DC as well. The agent is installed, and they do report back in, but it is difficult to initiate actions with them proactively (such as scanning, rebooting, etc.) because the credentials used for the On-Domain PCs do not work with the Off-Domain ones. Is there a way to manage the credentials for the Off-Domain PCs separately, so that they can be fully functional with DC? Thank you!
Running an .exe-based installer on the logged in users desktop
Hi. I am now deploying an exe-based driverpack to a computer managed by desktop central. It seems to work allright. However, as the driverpack installation is interactive (it shows a progress bar), the following pops up: After clicking "vis meldingen" ("show message") , a new seperate desktop with only that progress bar (no other windows) etc shows up. I am evaluating Application manager for ma department and so far i am very impressed with how easy it is to setup everything. M only concern so far is that we need to be able to make complex correlations and i cant find any way to do tat with this product. Ex: Windows service is down on serverA and received eventlog on serverB = Alarm Is there a way to do something like that?

Average days to close requests
Hi, I need a report which just says how many days, on average, it took to close requests, by month, for the previous 12 months. I would also like to see the result in a graph. I'm using version 7002 at the moment. We don't enter time on tickets, so I'd say we should would use the created time and completed time stamps. Is this possible? Thanks julian.
VoIP Module & Cisco IOS 15
Hello, I have question about support of cisco routers with IOS 15 version. Currently under VoIP module I can only select routers with older IOS version eq. 12.2. I'm sure that routers are properly configured cuz we're monitoring ipsla with another software. Is there any way to add those routers? Of course I'm seeing them under main page.

Turn off up/down notifications on switchports
I can't seem how tell OpManager NOT to make a big fuss out of switchports going up and down on my access switches. It's not getting these notifications through traps so can someone tell me how to stop this behavior? It creates an alarm with a "Critical" status.

Is there a way to automatically generate a unique reference/id for all new issues/changes? Example: I raise a change request and it is given ID 0001, the next request is auto assigned 0002 etc etc Thanks
Work log description field
Please make the box for the Description field under "add work log" bigger. While it will hold text and scroll, if adding a lot of text you have to do a lot of scrolling to read it. The box for "resolution" is HUGE in comparison.
Error trying to access SAP tabs and no performance data
Hi, I've installed the SAP Server monitor successfully in AppManager and have configured it to watch three SAP systems. There are two problems. 1) When I go into the SAP Server monitors to view the tabs Background, Dialog, OS and Spool I get an error that "An Error has occurred" 2) When I try to view performance data in the tabs Buffer and Enqueue there doesn't seem to be any data...everything is 0 in enqueue and there is nothing for Buffer. Upgrade Manager fails with . setcommonenv.sh not found
I am trying to upgrade from version 7.007 to version 7.016. However I keep getting .: 4: setcommonenv.sh: not found when running ./UpdateManager I also tried running . setcommonenv.sh before I do that and that does not make a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Regards, Gian

Hi all, I am using OpManager (free edition) to monitor a couple OpenSolaris servers. When monitoring disk resources, OpManager only monitors UFS file systems completely ignoring ZFS. OpManager is version 8 (build 8721). Is this a known bug/limitation? Thank you in advance. Bye Cris

Hi, I have done that move central server to a new windows server. I create a new probe server, install probe server,but the probe server cannot start. The error message in the wrapper.log is: Central build number 7501 is not compatible with Probe build number 7500. Hence shutting down the probe. How to solve the problem? How to resolve SQL Cache Memory alerts
I am running SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard (x64) on a Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise x64 Virtual Machine (vmware ESX 4.1). I have given the VM 8GB of RAM and 4 vCPUs. I am constantly getting the SQL Cache Memory alerts saying that my threshold has been surpassed. I've done researc on the Internet but could not find how to resolve this. Hi All, Running ServiceDesk 7.5 with hotfix 7508 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 machine, mail is being pulled from an Exchange 2007 server (Running Windows Server 2008 x64). We are using the mailbox helpdesk@domain.com for ServiceDesk to pull emails from. This is working nicely. We used to have an old email address of tech@domain.com for general enquiries and spam from servers. We have setup forwarding on this mailbox from inside Exchange to send a copy to helpdesk@ so that tickets can be created

Configuring SSL for Netflow
I have install/configured NetFlow and it runs fine on port 8080, however, after following the instructions to configure SSL on port 8443, I have come to a dead-end. It seems NetFlow fails to listen on 8443. When a do a' netstat|grep 8443', nothing show up. I generated the server.keystore certificate and stored it under $NetFlowHome/server/default/conf. Any thoughts/suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Can't access e-mail server config tab....
We have been testing SDP 8, and we are also in the process of migrating to an Exchange 2010 cluster - our test version has worked fine talking to 2010, so we went to migrate the mailbox for production to 2010 this morning - that had issues so we moved the mailbox back to the 2003 server - we had to restart service desk to get it to talk to the mailbox again, then mail fetching crashed about 5 minutes later. Now, I can't even click on the mail configuration tab on the admin page - it just sits there

All, I try to monitor CIFS connected users to the storage. There is exists the following counter: C:\Temp>Snmputil.exe get storage public .1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.7.2.9.0 Variable = .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.789.1.7.2.9.0 Value = Counter32 122 When I added this oid into template and applied template to the storage device, OpManager can't get this value. I see strange values like '0', '1' or very big. But the current value should be approx 100. I tried to add this counter as '.1.3.6.1.4.1.789.1.7.2.9.0'
MAC OS X and SNMP
Is anyone out there using OpManager to monitor a MAC OSX server? I was able to get it conencted via SNMP using Net-snmp as the Vendor, Catagory Server and Type is Linux and the server does show up with the Blue Star but I cannot get any info out of it. I would like to create a custom report with single quote in the Log Message. However, the system prompted to remove single quote in the Log Message. Hi there So far I am a happy user when it comes to AD Audit, and it has been a great help with making things visible within AD. However there is one thing that I can't seem to sort out. When I run a report, for example recently deleted users, and export the data to XLS the column called "Deleted Time" has the following format.
