Suppress Alarm

Hi,

I would like to check, is there a way where we can suppress all alarm related to the network interface? I can do this in "notification profile" (to avoid send email on network interface related alarm), but then in OpManager it will still trigger an alarm.

Basically, i would like to monitor all the interface in my Cisco switch as i will have an overview on how many interfaces are active and the Rx and Tx status. Since the end user that connected to the switch will shutdown the PC daily, it will be good to avoid generating "alarm" - otherwise daily i have to Log into OpManager and clear all the logs.

Looking at the feature "suppress alarm", this is really will solve my issue but at the same time, it will not trigger alarm for the monitor (memory / temperature, etc)

Any suggestion on this?
