We recently migrated to SDP 8, and there are MANY approval requests in the home view for requests and changes that are closed. I suggest that this view should only show outstanding approvals for OPEN requests and changes.

Hi, dear community participants! I use EventLog Analyzer 6, which is configured to send mail alerts after server(windows 2003) maintenance shutdown. The issue is that some emails arrive in time and some of them arrive with day, 2 days and even 3 days delay, even when events occurred with 10-15 minutes interval. Any ideas about reason?

Hi Team, I recently saw a Script in ServiceDesk Plus, which can free up Firewall ports, DCOM , RPC errors in Systems before the systems can be installed with the agent version in SDP ? Is there any chance to incorporate this script in OPManager and when we discover the devices and use the WMI Credential, this Script can be executed and free up the WMI errors. Uniform search UI and add export as pdf, CSV in search results
Hello It would be great if you could add in any search type (fast from home page or advanced etc) the possibility to choose how many records for page, now it is only 10 in the quick search from the homepage and also the possibility to export as PDF or CSV as now it is not possible, yo have to save the search as report first which is quite of a nuisance. HI, I'm a system admin in an IT software company. Now we using nagios monitoring tool, but it is not enough for our requirement, we need to get syslogs and event logs through a centralized monitoring tool. I downloaded and installed OpManager in a linux box for this purpose and added some systems for monitoring, but it shows only its health like CPU, Memory, HDD, etc. My question is how to do syslogs and event logs through OpManager?

LDAP redundancy
When will we be able to have LDAP redundancy? In a 24x7 enterprise shop we cannot afford to have a single point of failure against a single LDAP host (which hit me today). I have been able to cludge it by changing the AaaLDAPAdapter table while waiting for support to respond, but that's not a suitable solution if my ldap host goes offline at an unsociable time like 2am Sunday. servicedesk plus request approval in version 8
We currently have version 7.6 of servicedesk plus. In it, we use the request approval, in a request, we choose Actions -> Submit for Approval. This works fine. In the release notes for version 8, it lists Request Approval as only being in the Enterprise edition of the software, but the upgrade will keep us at the Professional edition. Is there some other request approval in version 8, or has this feature been removed?

Installing 3rd party certificate for ADSelfService Plus
I have obtained an SSL certificate through GeoTrust which I need to use with ADSelfService plus. I see there are instructions for installing GoDaddy, Comodo and Verisign certs but nothing for GeoTrust. GeoTrust provides its certificates in a p7s file format which supposedly includes all intermediate CA certificates so that I shouldn't have to install the intermediate CAs separately. Can someone please provide me instructions on installing the GeoTrust certificate?
Firewall Issue
I am evaluating ADSelfservice. While it seems to work very well, I did notice an issue that I am not sure what to do with. I read through the posts and noticed a couple of people had the same problem; slowness when accessing the login screen, and when actually logging in. I did however narrow down the cause. Create a Business rules using Groups as a select criteria
I would like to see an additional criteria added to the business rule section of ServiceDesk that allows you to set a business rule based on Groups. Currently there is no way to automatically assign a technician a request based on the group the user has selected when opening a request. For example, if the users opens a request and selects the group "printer /fax /scanner" I want to be able to auto assign this to the technician that is responsible for requests of this nature.
