Hi to all and sorry for my English,

 

we start to use free version of Opmanager to execute test for our environment.

 

We need to manage via SNMP some SNOM phone that (as reported at this link: http://wiki.snom.com/Networking/Simple_Network_Management_Protocol_%28SNMP%29 ) can have a sample snmp management.

 

Our Step in Opmanager 8 8050

New Device Template creation -> Query Device at port number 161 with version SNMP v1/v2 in public community string

 

Opmanager reply: Device is not reachable. Check the device name and SNMP parameters.

 

This information is wrong for 3 reasons:

1 - Opmanager monitor regulary this device with pool every 5 minutes

2 - Log of snom phone report two strange row:

 

25/12/2001 01:58:33: SNMP: Expecting SNMPv1 community public (packet ignored)

25/12/2001 01:58:38: SNMP: Received unknown object identifier 06082b06010201010200

 

3 - Inquiry phone with net-snmp work fine
