Workstation Inventory Report (Need assistance)
I have two custom reports we put together using MySQL. We have migrated to MSSQL and I need assistance with converting the two reports. The first one is a Workstation inventory report. I am able to convert the first part of the report but I am unable to get the Inventory totals (Union portion) converted properly. No 'Resolved Date' for requests?
Hi, I just went to create a Request view that displayed all Requests closed today and was concerned that only 2 requests were being displayed. On further investigation, only 'Closed' requests are being displayed and there doesn't appear to be a Request field for the Resolved date. Checked the reports and I can't see a resolved date field there either. Am I missing something here, as I'd assumed that my KPIs on closed requests would also include those resolved within the time period I'm reporting
Different Daily Operational Hours
We would like to be able to do a custom schedule per Site where the operational hours per day may vary. Currently we can only set the same operational hours per day. Our scenario is we have clients who have operational hours from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. from Monday to Friday and 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. for Saturdays. In the current SDP capability we can either set the Saturday as non-operational or the Saturday as from 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. as well. In both options, it does not favor the end-users

Hi, What is the ev_temp folder for, it is huge on our server and is filling the drive with .dmp files which is causing various issues. Can the files be deleted? At present ADAudit+ hasn't worked for a few days, i'm just trying to get it to read from our AD again after upgrading to the latest SP. Thanks Jeff

Closing the DOS prompt shuts down ServiceDesk
Is it normal behaviour to start ServiceDesk Plus by executing run.bat from the comman line and then having to keep that user logged on to the server and keep the DOS prompt open. If I close the DOS prompt, ServiceDesk shuts down. Please tell me how to start SDP without having to keep the user logged on and DOS prompt open. SDP version we're using is 7.6.0 Build 7611.
Profil Reports not displaying application information
Hello, We build some profile reports in the way to be able to display application statistics for a group of application in previous FNA version. While upgrading to the last version and rebuilding the same reports, with same parameters we can not have the same display. Instead of Application names we got IP references. Description of templates visable for the requesters ??
So when i create a new incident-template, i can choose a name and in comments i can write a description. This description is visible when the user logs on, he/she sees the "Common incidents" and its description. However, if i click the "Quick action" - "New incident" and choose my template, there is no description to be found. Now it would be preferable to have the description in some sort of tool-tip. SupportCenter Plus outgoing mail queue
SCP outgoing mail inflexibly depends on email server. If any problem occurs, it will not try to send a letter once more. Our support team generates a new request ~every minute, most of requests become assigned to our partners helpdesk via email. So any temporary failure or downtime (mail server reboot, link down, ets) is permanent data loss - partners does not receive requests. Deny ability to change certain passwords
I'm fairly new to AD Manager Plus having just purchased it within the last week. I love all of the features so far but have come across something i'm not sure I want helpdesk staff to have the ability to do. When allowing them to reset passwords, the software appears to let them change any password for any account on the system including the administrator account. Is the onoly solution to not have the administrator account or service accounts in an OU that they can access? If so, i'd like to see

Hello I use ADManager in a school and I miss a function to put users and computers into groups or folders in ADManager . If I have a folder for my class, I can change password or unlock all accounts fast and easy, no need to search. I do not mean AD groups. //Peter

Import AD resources without creating new resource groups
Just wondering if there was a way to leave my scheduled AD import job running, but not create the resource groups at the same time? I don't use that OU structure within PMP, and it just clutters up the list of resource groups. Thx. Jody

Performance Monitors not working
Hi Since I migrated from the 32-bit to the 64-bit version of OpManager, the performance monitors are not responding anymore. If i test them, i get an error, saying "The Monitor did not respond to the test request". The credentials are correct (cheking the credentials passes) and if I execute the wmi script on the commandline, I get the data. The problem occures on all devices no mather if it is a windows server or a network switch. We use the current OpManager version (Build 8723) running on a Windows
Unable to remove devices from OpManager
I have to ESX servers that cannot be displayed, added or removed from Opmanager. I have tried running RemoveDBEntry.bat and rebooting but the devices are still in the database. We are running OpManager 8722 with the VMWare Monitoring plugin.
Disable Exchange Mailbox
In Exchange Management Console when you disable a mailbox the mailbox becomes disconnected and the AD user account is disabled. Does this function exist anywhere in ADManager Plus? I don't see anything that lets you do that.

I am attempting to make a backup copy of our DesktopCentral_Server folder so I can install a hotfix. I have shut down ManageEngine Desktop Central, stopped all related services and ended all process but I continue to get a message that states "ib2d is being access by a user or program. Please close and continue." I have no idea who might be accessing this or where to find it to stop it. Any suggestions???

Hello everybody. Is there a way to have old backups erased on a scheduled basis? I can do that with a Windows scheduled job, but that will not erase the list of old backups in ServiceDeskPlus "Backup Scheduling" page.
