Nested Software Deployment
We are looking at migrating from Novell's ZCM 11 to Desktop Central but there are some issues that are still nagging me. For example:
1. We have Application A that has requirements 1,2,3 and 4. How do we install 1,2,3, and 4 before Application A?
2. We have an Application that has had updates and a MSP file released for it. How do we install the MSI and then the MSP in one operation? A quick check tells me that I could use MSIEXEC in a post install script but that is very messy. I would like to see where you can stack actions onto an install.
Anyone have any best practices for these two scenarios?
