Reconciling contacts
When we reconciles contacts, if the first contact doesn't have a mail, and the second as, instead of using the second as the primary mail, it fills the alternate email field.

Asset agent installed on a pc but does not reflect in scans
On my computer it shows the Manage Engine Asset Explorer Agent version 1.0.5 installed as of March 2012. Within SDPlus, after running an agent scan, my computer does not even show up in inventory. I would like to get a better understand just how this occurs and how to resolve this and other asset discovery issues. Thanks, Lisa G
Can't pickup Office 2007 license keys on Windows 7 64-bit
Hi, We're still running ServiceDesk Plus 8.0.0 We've found license key for Office 2007 gets picked up on all computers except those running Windows 7 64-bit operating system. Does anyone know if this issue can be resolved by upgrading our copy of Servicedesk to 8.1?
Large IBD files?
We've just started using ADAudit (6 DC, 700 users) and find it is filling up disk space very quickly - a 352Mb ibd file every 20 minutes? Is this normal? Thanks

All of my WMI monitors fail with Device Name apps4-server.paulstra.com Monitor Name DiskUtilization Protocol WMI OID Disk Utilization Possible reasons 1. The device might be down. 2. The username and password provided for this device might be wrong. 3. The domain password for this device was not provided 4. The domain password for this device might be wrong ------ However RPC & WMI are running on the server, the username and password is specified with the domain admin account i.e. "paulstra_crc\administrator"
XP & Win 7 Difference
Hi Babu , i have another question in the hopes of you pointing me in the right direction. Why it is there a different option when loading a Winxp system to capture an image than that of a win7 system, with win xp it gives you a section where u can see the network card info and address assign etc and with windows 7 it does not. And with windows xp when proceeding it also give u the option to save the image on a network share but with windows 7 it does not , it only gives u option to save the image
SC+ Login Details not displaying in notification email
Hi All, When a user gets their login details shipped to them the Login Name and Passwords are not being included in the email. Instead, they are blank. We are using the variables $LoginName and $LoginPassword. One other thing (but not at all as important), the request link is no longer a hot link, but just text. Of course this works fine for plain text notification emails. Just curious. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, -Margie
Vulnerability Database Update Fails (v 80024)
I recently installed Desktop Central 8 on my server and have been unable to update the vulnerability database successfully. Each time I attempt to download the database the first three process complete successfully and then the "Syncing security updates" process fails. I have reviewed logs and even changed the log setting to Debug and still have no indication of why the update fails. The system currently does not have a local firewall running and no traffic is being blocked by the gateway.
Desktop Central Server stops
I installed the app first time had a issue with DB update. Then the server stops after starting. I reinstalled the app result is same. Any help is appreciated. Thx

We have a regular cases in Russia when state sets workdays on weeekends (compensating holydays), so please add Weekend workdays list (may be in Holyday list with some 'is_workday' bit)
'My Reports' - mine or everybody's ?
I assumed that this folder within the reports tab, would be a place where I could store my custom reports i.e. only visible to my user id. However I have noticed that within this folder are reports from other users So is it really 'my folder' or is it available to everyone, in which case that's a misleading name?

Program stops responding and CPU max out
This happens fairly often, the CPU max out, most often while trying to work with assets. System is running mysql, had 2.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 15GB free disk space and only runs AdventNet applications (Manage Engine & Self Service Plus)

I would love to be able to view reports on what users modified what objects on what users, I would buy this product in a second if it could do that. Also, is there a price? Hello, I have one question about this product, if we add a new field by schema extension, this one will be view automaticaly by your software or otherwise we must modify something in your software. ADManager Plus User Creation
Greetings, I have just intstalled ADManager and everything went smoothly. First question is while the system has a default login of 'admin' with a password that I can change as desired, how do I add other users to the product? I do not want to allow people to log in as 'admin'. Does ADManager use AD to authenticate it's users, and if so, how do I manipulate a users AD credential to control access to ADManager?
saving after editing a Holiday doesn't refresh the page or the displayed Holiday List
I am new to ServiceDesk Plus. I am going through the Configuration Wizard. Under Organizational Details, I got to Holidays. With only New Year's day ("New Year"), Christmas and Independence Day pre-configured, I decided to add a couple. I added Memorial Day, May 28th, and clicked saved. SDP saved it. Then I realized I wanted it to be a recurring holiday. I clicked the edit icon, checked the "Check if this is a recurring holiday" check box and clicked Save. It appeared not to save. Just sat there.

Before we can purchase this propduct I need to satisfy the auditors with regards tot he following. When somebody creates a new user with ADManager using a template. Is it possible to revist the account creation and run a report to determine who created the original account? Even though a template was used? Alternatively, is there a way in ADManager that using the template object we can add the call reference number from the support desk call to the AD object automatically to determine who created
Error Code 522
Hello, I just installed the Trial Version of ADAudit Plus and am getting the error "A required priveledge is not held by the client Error 522" when trying to configure a domain controller. I have a privileged user account that I successfully authenticated with so I'm not sure why its giving me this error. Thanks for any help.
Logon Name Format
When creating a user template, is there a way to create the Logon Name Format to use Initials rather than full names? My username format is First Initial + Full Last Name. i.e. John Smith's username would be JSmith Thanks.

I am having issues doing a bulk import. It will only import the first two rows from the Csv file. The remainder of the rows import, as disabled users with missing attributes ex: givenName, name, displayName, sn, title,SAMAccountName, userPrincipalName Any help will be appreciated.

Hello all, I would like to know whether ADmanager plus can forward on messages when passwords are about to expire. Our company have a large number of people working remotely and password changes have to happen every 30 days. Currently we have to contact each member of staff via SMS messaging on their mobile phones to inform them of a password change. I downloaded the demo of ADM+ to try out, but I am a bit confused about the self-service portal feature. When logged in as a basic user in the online demo (4.0), I see the options for unlocking a co-worker's account and specifying which employees are allowed to unlock your own account. I do not see those in the copy I downloaded to run in my test network (4.1), and cannot figure out how to enable them. CSV Import, error with accountExpires
Hello, I'm using a csv file to create multiple user. In my csv, I have the accountExpires value. When I import it, it says an error occured code 8000 and then create user without reading accountExpires. Here is my csv: userPrincipalName,sn,givenName,password,description,accountExpires af0700,af,0700,pass,desc,2008-07-25 the format in my ad server is yyyy-mm-dd for date. I tried yyyy/mm/dd and it didn't change a thing. Thanks for your help
BUG: Help Desk Delegation doesn't work after adding user
After I added a test user to AD via ADM+, I can no longer add Help Desk technicians. When I click browse AD, a window showing only the user I created through ADM+ appears as selections, and the search for the user I want from AD doesn't work. It's like ADM+ is now only searching some internal DB for this function now instead of querying the AD like it should. It worked fine before I added a user through ADM+. Integration with ServiceDeskPlus breaks resolve notification
Just downloaded and installed the V4.2 Pro versn on trial on a seperate server from our live Service Desk Plus installation ( 7011 ). During the ADManager configuration it requests the Service desk port and an admin account so these ( naively ) were entered and tested and accepted fine. Net result is the link at the top of Service Desk Plus now goes to this test install, we don't have a live install of ADManager so that's not an issue.
