Hi, I am suddenly unable to post a request after having done so for many months, all my technicians can but not me so can anyone shine some light? I have 2 machines with the same issue both running Windows 8 Pro and Internet Explorer 10, I have set IE10 to compatibility mode and removed my antivirus software (Kaspersky Internet Security) but still cant send a ticket, please help! How to fully extend text in Desktop Central?
In the text columns that show programs in list form, is there any way to fully extend the text to show the entire program name in the column? I know you can scroll over it and it will bring up a bubble with the full name, but I was curious if you could extend it further than 20 letters or whatever it decides to stop at. Much appreciated.
No mouse or keyboard in Hyper-V with OS Deployer
I am trying to capture an image of a VM in Hyper-V, but when the "Master Image Creation Wizard" starts the mouse and keyboard do not respond and I cannot start the wizard. I think it might be driver issue, but I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone assist?
MS SQL configured, icon showing Postgres DB Port?
I finally managed to get a fresh install of PMP and MS SQL 2008 to work together using changedb.bat. I tested the connection and clicked save. Restarted the PMP service, yet its still showing as 'Postgres DB port 2345' when you hover over the icon. Is there anyway of verifying that PMP is using the SQL Server? I can see the 'PassTrix' database has been created in SQL Server Manager but am not sure if anything is being written and stored.

Hi, During some testing i've setup intentionally a wrong SMTP server so notifications are not sent to recipients - testing phase. This was done so i don't need to remove the notification profiles. Now i am in the position of putting back the correct SMTP server, but first i want to make sure the old emails are not in a queue of OPManager and will be sent later. Remove deleted users from requester list
Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to have users removed from the requester list once the account has been deleted out of Active Directory while still retaining there history of jobs etc as we have a very high turn over rate of staff.
Nested categories
When a user logs an incident I want them to be able to pick a category and sub-category based on what type of Service Category they have selected. For example, for IT I would want them to see Categories such as User Administration, Computer Issues etc. And for Business Management I'd want them to see categories such as Purchasing. I don't want each of these two Service Categories to see the other's categories. i.e. I don't want Business Management to have the option of selecting User Administration.

Tasks are out of order
My Tasks are out of order on that task tab. Under the Organization button they are listed in the order that is correct. Dependancies are also set up even though it doesn't really matter ( We are told an update is coming to fix it) The Tasks were set up correctly when entered 1-5 now they are listed in the ticket 5-1 I hope there is an explanation and a fix for this.

New work log owner
Is there a possibility to set that new work log owner is chosen automatically according to request assigned technician? Before upgrade to service desk plus version 8.2 Build 8208 we had this option set(at version 8.0). We use one user account to log on service desk but have defined several different technicians for requests assignment. On every new work log owner is same as logged on user but not technician.

Newbie question, but is there any ability to control the order of fields when using the tab key to move from field to field in the request form? I would like to speed up the entry of data by encouraging the use of the tab key and the typing of the first letter of the drop down option, rather than using a mouse to click in each field - but it simply appears to move from left to right across the form. Licence FAILURE, can't install new one
Has anyone else come across a problem such that when the licence has expired, the web interface won't work properly -- so it's not possible to fix the licence failure? I'm getting "Exception in:/jsp/tabcomponent/LicenseUpgrade.jsp" and the logs indicate that the licence status is null, so I suppose then that the software throws unhandled exceptions instead of politely asking the user to register. Did anyone else find a clever way around this problem?
