User Login integrated with Active Directory

Url Monitoring not working after upgrading to v 10100 from 9010
After upgrading to v 10100 our url monitors are not working. Specifically we're testing the results of a page for a key word "active" Currently the page is not returing the key word active, yet OpManager is still showing the URL as up and Ok. When I click the link "check url" in the monitor properties the spinning circle continues indefinitely. Is this a known issue?

Hi A little background on my environment. Running a Windows based network, 2 Win2k3 DCs, Exchange 2010, 3 Win2k8 Member Servers, 3 Win2k3 Servers. All servers are running within a virtual environment on VMWare platform. Questions DCs are not registering any information for Disk I/O Usage, CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization and Network Usage. What are the default or suggested values for these monitors. Please advise

Hello, We have an executable that we can run from the command prompt on the OpManager server without problem (logged in as an administrator), however when trying to execute the same executable from the Run Program notification we are running into issues with the executable. Essentially all it is doing is connecting to a URL and posting some data (which is passed in as variables when executing the stored proc). We're using ServiceDesk Plus tool to manage all CRs and SRs, I was trying to find the cost for each CR using SD tool report but i couldn't find it report interface GUI, so I queried in MSSQL server backend of Report server? Acknowledge Requester by First Name?
Hi. I'd like to be able to acknowledge the requester by their first name when they receive an automated response to the creation of a new request. However, when building the text to be sent (i.e. "Customize template" for "Acknowledge Requester by Email when a new request is received"), there is no "First Name" option, and all we're given as an acknowledgement name is "RequesterName". Is it possible, with how it is now, for me to add an option like this? steven

Hello, I am beginning to configure a ServiceDesk instance and need some advice on how to proceed with the sites/departments. Essentially we will need to separate the sequesters for reporting and organization purposes. We are a department of about 10 technicians, and we service town users, and several schools. I have read a bit about this, and have seen a few different ways to do this. Should we configure each location as a site, or as I have seen recommended on here a couple times, as a region?

iPads no longer get "App Catalog" app after enrollment process

Automatic request
I have doubts in the process of automating emails. Necessary that all the emails that are sent to an account is opened automatically request. What we need to parameterize it? What are the ways? I've Set up the account, gave okay! Is on running and nothing else. Another point, after this setup, is there any place where I have the vision of the inbox those emails?
Blank Product Type
Hello, We are currently on ServiceDesk Plus version 8.0.0.0 Build 8208. In the product type tab, at the top there is an entry without a product name. I am unable to delete it, it gives the following error message "FAILURE :Product Type is being used by a module. Hence cannot delete it." Also I cannnot edit it, it just hangs at the "loading please wait..." pop up. I have tried to find where the dependancy is, in Products and Vendors but I cannot find where else it shows up. Hi, I could not find the configuration to set the photo screensaver with directed to a specific folder. If it was directed to My Pictures, the screensaver would appear all the user's pictures instead of company's logo. Thanks.
Dashboard / Widget Size / Font / General skin tuning
I am trying to setup a nice dashboard for a monitoring screen (big LCD screen) however I am having some issues with Font size and the size of the graphs... Is there an easy way to tune this or create a general custom skin I could apply to a user so the dashboard looks readable from a distance? Right now if I run the display at 1080p the fonts become too small but the graphs fit, and if I run at 720p the fonts are readable but the graphs squish the screen and I can get very little info up there.
Configuring AppMan to automatically log calls in Service Desk Plus requires the SDP Admin account and login
Hi, we successfully configured AppMan to log calls automatically in Service Desk Plus when Alerts are triggered. A great enhancment to our monitoring. However, in setting it up in Appman, the only SDP account that it could use (to import and connect to SDP) was the ADMIN account. We had previously removed this, as I had admin privilages. We recreated it, and it worked, but it also uses up one of our 10 licenses for SDP. Am I correct in saying that the ADMIN account is the onl one that will

I would like to create a monitor for a Folder on a server which I could configure an alarm if a certain type of file is saved in the directory. For example, the presence of *.docx in C:\Temp. Is this possible at all? Thanks in advance! -John

Is it possible to report on the existence of a specific file on a machine or a particular type of file? I have several scenarios in mind, one would be to report on the existence of a log file that is generated by a script I run at startup, the second scenario would be to report on users that have .pst files stored locally. Hi, Could someone please tell me if it is possible to configure IIS in server 2008 to automatically load service desk plus without having to list port externally? ie, when going to helpdesk.domain.com it would take you to http://servername instead of http://servername:port? Work log in 8208 : Description does not wrap around a fixed width table
Hi All, While the 8208 release for SDPlus has resolved the work log issue, I noticed that long work log Descriptions don't wrap around a fixed width. Instead, they can extend across the page infinitely. In order to read, you will have to scroll across the page. I can guess that the Work Log tables are not set to a fixed width, which if it was, would force the description to go onto a new line regardless of whether a new line (enter) was used or not.
Every inventory scan fails since Build No:80251
Hi DesktopCentral-Team, this weekend we implemented the 80251 hotfix. Everything seems ok, the agents have updated correctly. But since then, 900 of 950 inventory scans are failing at various clients: xp, win7, 2003, 2008 etc. We tried to uninstall and re-install the client, what worked perfectly. But with no impovement at inventory scanning. Patch scanning works well, so does software deployment. What additional information can be helpful? Or are there already any ideas? Thank you very much! Hi Guys, I have OP-Manager version 10.0 (10000) installed in production. This is already an upgrade from version 9 so it is still with MYSQL DB. I have backup of this DB together with all needed files using BackupDB_Mysql.bat .
