Quick launch box
Hi, I would like to make a software change request, would it be possible to either be able to close the quick launch box when connected to a machine, or to have a button to call up the quick launch box when required. It is very frustrating to have to move this around when working on a remote machine. Thanks. Geoff.
Troble with installation

Pause scheduled shutdown
It would be useful to be able to pause a scheduled shutdown. For example, when I need to leave the computers on for unscheduled troubleshooting, I have to delete the scheduled shutdown and then readd it so that the computers won't shut down. Therefore I have to redo the entire configuration: machine list, time/date, etc. Would it be possible to add a pause option as is available on scheduled configurations?

Several questions on the synchronisation between the inverntory/asset registers in these two products: 1. If I delete from DC does the workstation get deleted from SD+ ? 2. Associating database for Monitors
I have been testing OpManager for a deadlock issue that we have from time to time to see if the monitoring will help. I am having a hard time getting this to work on a few of the database servers. At first when I'd select the MSSQL under add monitor and i'd get an access denied. I got pass that part, but now when I try to click to associate the databases, the next screen only shows "Select all", but none of the actual databases, as I of course don't want to select everything... Any ideas on this

Netflow Behind Proxy Server
Hello community, We're re-evaluating NF9. Can someone please tell me if its possible to see traffic behind a proxy server. Currently, all communication to our server is via a proxy which uses port 8080. However, the actual connection to the server is on port 23. Because of the proxy we can't see the actual connection to the server on port 23. Is there a way to achieve this? Cheers Carlton

Hello Community, I'm re-evaluating Netflow. Is it possible to view conversations between a client that uses http to connect to the server via a proxy. For example, we have a client that accesses a server via proxy. The connection appears as 8080 because of the proxy, however the actual connection the server is on port 23. Hi to all, I setup up an email alert notification when a service stop on a specific server. I want also to run a batch program file to restart this service but I don't know how do it with EventLoag Analyzer. The batch is like this: SC \\servname start servicename If I run it manully it works but not if i use the run a program feature on my alert. What should I use as Arguments ? Single Sign on not working
Trying out Password Manager Pro and can't get SSO to work for the life of me. I can import AD users just fine...I tried both our domains. Neither work. I made sure the server the software is running on is on that domain. Didn't make any difference. Tried Ie7, ie8, firefox, chrome. None work. Most of the time I get some bizzare login page even before the regular "portal" page. If I happen to get past that....I can log in just fine with AD user credentials, but its not automatic. Yes these

Move installation to another disk
Hi, When Desktop Central was first installed it was not envisaged that it would take up as much space as it does and therefore it was installed on a disk without enough space. Downtime removal on Enterprise AppManager install.
When are we going to see the capability to get downtime removed via the central console on the enterprise install. It is incredibly bad that we have to go to each poller to do this on a monitor by monitor basis. We have 7k monitors over 6 - 7 pollers and the current setup is pretty bad for downtime removal. The central console should be able to perform configuration and not just view functions. Not impressed with the product at this time.
Bulk "Annotations" function from alarm view
It would be great to get a bulk Annotations function from the alarm view. You have bulk Acknowledge, bulk Assign technician, but no bulk Annotations. use case: Incident causes 10 alarms. We want to bulk select the alarms and Annotate them all with the same Incident #.

Desktop Central clients on different subnets
Hi, we have a network which contains several subnets and we've defined an ip scope and a remote office in Desktop Central. There's only one Distribution server on the network and the the remote office is setup to use direct communication over https. We're running Desktop Central 8 release 80296 -- I think that's the latest available. Patch / Vulnerability DB updates happen every night at 1800 (and I run it manually every morning, just to be sure). I see the Mac version of the Adobe ShockWave Player v12.06 dated November 28, and I see the template for creating a package to deploy Adobe ShockWave Player v12.06, but I don't see a Win version of the Adobe ShockWave Player v12.06 in the list of available patches. Issues I'm having with ESXi monitoring
