I would like a Date & Time Field added for some routine maintenance that we perform on servers, and virtual devices, here is what that list would include:

 

Backup Schedule: 

Defrag Schedule: (would be associated with physical servers, but not be associated with virtual devices):

Scheduled Maintenance (with description):

Patch Schedule: 

Custom Schedule: (which I could populate a text field with information about the upcoming event)

 

Associated Reports:

I'd like to run a report for all servers, and see if I'm missing any backup schedules, or defrag schedules, or patch schedules across the board.

I'd like to run a report for all of our upcoming maintenance, which by the way, we use the maintenance schedule in opmanager to schedule items in advance,  I'd like that upcoming outage, to be viewable by a Maintenance Calendar, link on the device snapshot, where  I could see it being useful, if I were looking at a server device, and wanted to see any upcoming maintenance for that server.  That might allow me to combine some tasks on that server for an outage we knew was already upcoming.  Likewise a report for this month, with all listed maint. could be useful.

 

I know we all use different products for handling our windows update etc., but more and more I'm exposing read-only view to opmanager, so that other teams, such as development, can see the uptime, and server status, and performance issues etc.,   With an enterprise it might be handy to convey work-time schedules for these devices as well.

 

We find ourselves using multiple backup technologies, and defrag with no enterprise tool for that, I would like to leverage opmanager to help me with the organization of it.
