ServiceDesk update fails
I was in the middle of upgrading to 820SP015 when the command window closed and the upgrademanager closed as well. Now I'm not able to run the upgrade Again and the Service Desk site is unavailable. I've tried rooling back with the Backup but it did not help.

Editing Device Templates
Hi All, i would like to be able to edit the Windows Server 2008 device template. this template has auto assigned itself to our servers when they were discovered by Opmanager. i just need to enable the monitors which are default on this template - however i need to assign the template an OID? is there a simple way of editing the template without this as these servers are using WMI and not SNMP. im sure there is a simple way of editing the monitoring values. im new to this so any help would
Need to change LDAP server name
Hi, We got a problem with your Service Desk. Recently, we have changed our network infrastructure. In the process, we have changed our LDAP server name. Now, we can't login to Service Desk and change the server name. I tried to reset admin password through mySQL command line. But didn't work. I still can't login locally. Is there any config file which save LDAP server name - so I can't the name manually? Please let me know. Thanks.
Application Hang on startup - 'Application Layer'
Having used ServiceDesk Plus in the past I'm trying to convince a client to switch to it. So downloaded the latest Windws x64 version. Ran the installer. Started the Server....this then hangs at 'Starting Application Layer' Ran run.bat and get a login error for the SQL account, which is odd as I can log directly in to SQL with this account and do all I need to do. Ran ChangeDbServer and change the SQL password to the same as I specified in the install and it tests fine. Hit save, and receive a load
Email issues
My email settings are working, somewhat. My fetch works perfectly and crates tickets on an inbound email. The ticket then emails out the info for the newly created ticket to the requester perfectly. But whenever I go to reply in the ticket or run a report and email it I get Failed: Mail sending Failed. No error number or info that I can use. Anyone know how to correct this? Certificate Expiry Field and Custom Report, by Certificate Expiry Dates
Here is an easy to implement suggestion. I would like the option to add Certificate Expiries, to Server and Network devices, and be able to put thresholds based by their expiries, so that I could be notified in advance of that date, to obtain my renewal. I've created a custom field for Certs, with a date field, but that doesn't help me with monitoring it :-) which I would like to at 1 per day, and a threshold of 1 month or 2 weeks etc. Would be very useful with the number of certs which we manage.
OPM device needs manually set "Manage" after connectivity loss
Every time remote devices lose connectivity, we have to manually go to device page > Actions > Manage again. How can this setting be changed where we no longer need manual intervention?

Hi I enabled the satisfaction survey about 4 months ago... lovely..! But the satisfaction level summary and the ratings dont actually make any sense..?? what happened to the good old % of..???? so out of 100 you scored say 10% (in other words 'Rubish'...!) I need to put some stats into a presentation for the partners of the firm but I cant with the current way it reports.... can you explain or help...
10200 Removes Custom Toolbar
I had created a custom toolbar within the navigation menu of our 10100 build. It included links to all other web-based management tools available in our organization...made it easier for technicians to browse to the device management. After 10200 that's gone. Not a HUGE problem, but just FYI...not great.

Is there a way to get server list for a particular domain via IP range? I know I can do all computers then do a search for server but need to know if I can by IP range.

All Alarms: Not showing correct results
When I select a different page size in the Alarms -> All Alarms screen, leave that screen, then come back, it will always show 25 results, while the page size shows the option that I selected before. When I initially select the page size, it shows the correct amount of results. This also occurs when looking at specific device results if there are enough results to view. System details: OpManager 10 on Windows 08 R2. Viewing on Max OS X 10.8.5 using Chrome 30.0.1599.69.

Asset Managment - Product Type greyed out
I'm not sure why but "Firewall" under Asset Management is greyed out and I would like move some In Store Assets to the Product Type. Problem for scanning thinclients that the system operating was installed from an image
Hi, We have in company some thinclients (nearly 50) that the system operating was installed from an image (Windows Embedded Standard 7). We have an thinclient that was scanned correctly. When I try to scan a second and the software (Service Desk) identifies that the operating system is the same (like a symatec ghost32 image), it changes all the information about the first thinclient. Issue with SPam Filter "Subject begins/end with"
Currently running ServiceDesk Plus V8.2.0 Build 8215. When I define a rule for the SPAM filter, and the rule is "Subject begins with" or "Subject end with", the rules toggle every time you save. So every "Subject begins with" becaomes "Subject end with" while every "Subject end with" becaomes "Subject begins with". You can sit there pressing "Save", watching them change each time. Hyper-V Systems not showing in Top N Min/Max/Average CPU/Memory usage widgets
I created a new business view, added 4 physical SQL servers, and 4 Hyper-V Host machines. Then I created a new dashboard, and added two widgets, the Top N Min/Max/Average CPU and Memory widgets. I then filtered the widgets by All Categories, but only for this business view with 8 devices. The problem is that the Hyper-V hosts do not show up in the widgets at all.

Workstation Monitoring stops after a client reboot
Morning, I am trying out the OpManager software and have tried to monitor a workstation to see what its like, I have setup the performance counters CPU and Memory, connected via wmi (winxp) using my admin credentials, it works all day then when the machine is powered down and back up again the performance monitors stop working. I have tried the Test Credentials which passes, and the Test Performance Monitors which Fail, i can remove the monitors and add them again and it starts working. I'm assuming

Hi, is it possible, if we like to use AppManager and OPManager in our company, to install just the OPManager plus the APPManager-Plugin (ManageEngine_OpManager_APM_Plugin)? CPU Utlization and Real time monitoring Not working.
