Hello I installed ServiceDesk Pro Trial. System running ESXi 5.0 Virtual machine ver.8. Installed Windows Server 2008 x64 Eng, MS SQL 2005 SP2 Eng x64. Installing the ServiceDesk x64 is successful. Test connect to database - OK. When the server starts - goes out the window with the status of work. At "Application Layer Started" stoping loading. Service "ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus" not running. 10 seconds after manual start the service, it stoping. In system logs no errors. Attach log files located

Hi I have recently upgraded AD Manager plus to the latest version, however I have a problem when trying to do a user import with a CSV file. It goes through the process and loads and validates the users and then I click next and it seems to stick on Loading Please Wait and hangs there. This part used to take a few seconds (The csv is only 20 users in length) but now seems to hang there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Has anyone experienced losing shell access when PMP resets a password? Hi, I'm setting up a configuration for a removal/install of a software. This is a 2 part process 1. Uninstall software 2. Install new software. The problem is that some machines do not have the original software, so that part of the script returns an error code "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed." error code is 1605. I would like to be able to make that error code marked as a success, and not have the system attempt a retry and eventually mark as a failure.

Okay, so we have just updated our Desktop Central to the latest build (80340) and everything is working fine, but we're not too keen on the new Deployment Policies when trying to push out updates. We were wondering if there was a way to disable that feature and push updates the way we did with your previous builds?

Bluescreen failure when USB is blocked
Hello We have 160 Windows 7 and 150 Windows 8 ( 10x Windows 8.1 ) Clients and the software deployment works very well. Now we would like to deploy the usb security on user and client sites. With Windows 7 it works good, but on Windows 8 (8.1) Clients after reboot or deploying it shows a bluescreen (sad smily) with no error message or code. Is this a whole problem with desktopcentral and windows 8 or still a config which i must set correctly? So i only use the assistant to block all ports on the clients,

How can I get to check if MDM will communicate on port 2195. Fire wall opened for 2195 and 2196. I can telnet into gateway.push.apple.com : 2195 and get a response from their server. However Desktop Central doesn't seem to want to communicate at all. I have run Wireshark to monitor port 2195 and there is no communication at all from Desktop Central on this port. Announcements feature - choose users across multiple domains/broadcast frequency setting
I am trying to select specific users from each of 3 domains to whom I want to broadcast an announcement. However when I select users from the 2nd domain, it deletes the users I selected from the 1st domain. Also, in the frequency section, it would be helpful to have "weekly" as an option. Right now, I have to set it for every 7 days since I send a weekly maintenance reminder on the same day/time each week. It would also be useful to be able to broadcast to a computer rather than a user.

Hi All we are starting to use Contract Billing with Service Plans and I have some questions regarding reporting and billing dates 1 - If I create a service plan with a billing cycle of "yearly" (with an allowance of say 100 hours) and then create a billing contract using this service plan and select a billing data of eg 1st then when should I expect that the bills should be sent out. Can i search for last logged in users
Last Logged In User : bertaa is there a possibility to search in assets for last logged in users. From the search menu ? Tried everything, but can't find it. Some users travel around at different computers and I want to see where they are logged in at when I have them standing near my desk. Users never know where they are sitting... And don't remember the asset tags.

Hi everyone I've installed OpManager and Firewall Analyzer on the same CentOS 6.5 (x64) machine. When I open the Firewall analyzer web client and go to syslog server setting, both servers on ports UDP 514 and 1514 are displayed as DOWN. Even when I delete the default servers and add another server on another port (i.e. 1513 or 513) it still is DOWN. What should I do?

Hi there I have question that as current way to schedule "AD scan for users" for instance is only a single tick box and number of interval days. As I never know when it is actually scheduled. Time removal on some reports
Hello, Is there a way to remove just the time on some reports. For example, the contracts report. We don't care that the contract is expiring at 23:59:59. We know that it expires end of day so this is redundant. Can you please tell me how to fix this. We are running version 9 and MSSQL.

Hi, We are using PMP build 6903 (also tested with PMP 7000) and I found a very annoying bug: Password verification with a non existent DNS name always succeed How to reproduce: 1- setup a linux or solaris resource. 2- setup password sync 3- check that passwords are in sync 4- NOW, edit the DNS Name of the resource and put something that is not in the DNS 5- start a 'verify password' 6- => Bug: PMP says that password are in sync, but it has not actually checked, since connection was impossible.

However, I have a suspicion that a new error I am getting when trying to import users is appearing due to changes in the new updates.
