Script variables in Custom Script
I have created a custom script for the script monitoring feature in OpManager 11100 . In this script I have a variable which is set. I was under the impression that we could enter this variable in the message field so that the email alert will show the variables contents. This does not work. Is there a way to have script gathered data in the alert email?

Hi, I am trying to setup a test environment on Windows 7 with SQL Express 2012. I was able to install 8214 successfully and run it withe empty database. I was able to restore my production .data file on to this test instance. I ran "run.bat" in the bin folder to start Service Desk and I got a message that tells me, Server started..... Connect to htttp://localhost:8080/. When I open this on web browser, I get page not found message. I tried to access the same from another computer, on the same network
SLA Escalation to Non-Technicians
Will it be possible to have SLA escalation to non-technicians. Currently a violated SLA can only be escalated to a technician.
Change Templates
To help with a new Change request would like to have Change Templates that pre-fill in fields and/or restrict who can be set as the ChangeApprover. As it is any technician can create a Change and Approve it. We wish to have a Security Change Template and only allow a small specified group that can approve it. This Change template would have the correct CAB group selected plus other roles set when the Change is requested.
Can't scan ESXi 5.5.0 host
Hi! SDP Version: 9.0 Build 9003 Hosts accessible via vSphere client. Accessing its https://ipaddress shows the usual ESXi welcome page. In SDP, I've created VMware credentials. Upon scanning the server via Vmware, the following error shows up when using both credential were used: Connection to SSH Service in the workstation failed. ESXi 5.0.0 scanned normally. Disable Specific Service Monitors
Hello, We have a couple of servers with SQl Express installed and in the SQL Template it looks for the SQL Agent and since teh Agent does not work in SQL Express we keep getting alerts. How do we disable this and other specifc windows service monitors that come in templates? TIA, Jim

Hi, for some reason we cant remove the changeowner and changemanager from the template that we build (new template). When I remove the rol and save a popup with this message appear: "Already a Change Template in the same name is present. Please provide a different name." Other problema is that we cannot see the new roles to add to this new template. We want to add the new roles to the default template and remove the default roles. Thanks.
Updating SDP-MSP from build 8201 to build 8206
I am attempting to migrate/update from SDP-MSP v8.2 build 8201 to v8.2 build 8206, but when I start the service pack install I immediately get the following error: "The system cannot find the file: "C:\ManageEngine\ServiceDeskPlus-MSP\UPDATEMANAGER\..\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt" (see attached screenshot please) and then after a few minutes the installer finishes and says "Failed to start MySQL". Upon restarting the system, SDP-MSP remains at v8.2 build 8201. Could someone please provide me with some help
NetFlow Analyzer doesn't display graphs/reports
Hi There, Initially we started using netflow analyzer 7 which was working all good and now we have moved on to version 9. We have routers configured for both netwflow analyzer destinations and I can see traffic hitting to both destinations. All of the domain controllers in my domain are 2008R2. Does AD Audit have the ability of leveraging the Advanced Audit Policy Configuration settings that can be set through a GPO? NTFS Report Size
When selecting 10 subfolder levels exporting the NTFS permissions report fails it comes back and try's to save as 1.6k HTML file. This is not ideal as we have a deep folder structure in some places and reducing the subfolder levels is not an option and I don't really want to separate areas. Is there a way round this providing more resources to a certain area, I have just started using this so clear instructions would be grateful. Unable to close or move dialog box
I have a dialog box that is displayed whenever I open up Password Manager Pro that will not go away. This only seems to be happening in IE 11. As you can see from the screen shot this is a problem since I am not able to see or copy the first password in my list. I can see what I need by shrinking the screen which moves this dialog box to another location and out of the way.

Domain agent just logging - NO_JOBS
I have installed a domain agent on a domain controller. The resource is imported into PMP, but no matter what credentials i use, i just get NO_JOBS after each agent ping A password reset or verification from the PMP website triggers a "task", but nothing is returned and the log say NO_JOBS

Hi, I need to plot several recurring infrastructure changes however there is no possibility to do this currently. The Change has been approved but is a recurring weekly change. We have ADAudit Plus running on a MSSQL Database already and wish to move it to a new SQL Server. What is the procedure for doing this? The only one I could find in the documentation was going from a MYSQL/PostSQL to MSSQL. Thanks!
Resource Import Problem
I exported a password safe database and cleaned up the CSV. I then imported the CSV to create a bunch of shared resources. If a resource name was already in use by another admin, it added my accounts to their resource thus sharing my accounts to another group with no warning to me. Is anything being done about this? We're currently using version 6503.
Change Management
Hi I have created a new Template in Change Management in 9.0 Build 9000. I called it SDGeneral and deleted the existing one that came with the upgrade. Now I am unable to see my new template or even create new templates, in fact it is missing. I am able to see the SDEmergency template but when I click on this all I see is a blank page. Domain Scan in Progress - Never Changes
I am having a weird problem. The status of my domain scan is always showing as 'In Progress' this is even after shutting down servicedesk, restarting the server, restarting the sql services on the sql box hosting the database. It has been this way for three days now. How do I go about stopping this since I can start another new scan but it appears even after a couple hours where it should be finished the scan progress does not change to completed.

Hi @ all, I want to change the "Consecutive Time" of a (tcp) service which is applied to all my windows devices. I changed this setting at the service template and associated the template to all devices, where the service was associated. But this does not work. I won't delete the service at all devices and add it manually. So, how to do this?

Report for Contracts module
Hey Guys, I have been fighting the query tool. I am attempting to extract a report that contains contracts by name that are about to expire, I was going to use a 60-90 day lead time to catch them before they expire. It seems the date info is stored as an integer that looks like came from LONGDATE. I cant seem to convert it back?? I keep getting data truncation errors. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is there a way to set up an SLA to trigger if a specific field (Priority, Category, Level) goes unpopulated for a specific amount of time? When I try to make the rule, it requires me to select a value for those fields, and I cannot type NULL. Thanks, Dave

Hi we currently generate a custom report that shows a table of all requests assigned to a group, with a summary stacked bar graph showing the status of requesters tickets e.g. Bob has 2 open, 10 closed etc. This is showing the responsiveness of a high priority project. It would be good to be able to change the colours on the bar graph. They currently show red for closed tickets but to us it should be green or at least gray. URL Rewrite
In the process of migrating server, wanted to know if it is possible to rewrite any URL request for my firewall analyzer instance to my FQDN. For instance some people come at it by IP, or by the shortened name. I'd like to re-write it to the FQDN so they don't get SSL Cert warning. Thanks
