ADSelfService Plus: How do I disable weak ciphers from being used in HTTPS connection?
Hi, I was able to disable weak ciphers (change is made but I still need to test/validate to make sure it's working) in ServerDesk Plus using the following steps: http://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/faq-general-modules.html#ssl3 How can I apply similar changes in ADSSP to disable weak ciphers from being used in HTTPS connection to close this vulnerability identified by Qualys scan? In the process of migrating server, wanted to know if it is possible to rewrite any URL request for my firewall analyzer instance to my FQDN. For instance some people come at it by IP, or by the shortened name. I'd like to re-write it to the FQDN so they don't get SSL Cert warning. Thanks

95th Percentile Programmatically
I'm trying to figure out how to get a 95th percentile of an IP without having to set them up originally in the software programmatically. I know once it's setup that I can run a report within the software but I have hundreds of thousands of IPs. I can't take the time to set these up individually. Why doesn't NetFlow Analyzer let me run a 95th percentile report!?! without defining it first. The data is in the software. Also if I keep 1 min data for 3 months why in the world won't the software let
95th Percentile Automatically
How in the world do I get NetFlow Analyzer to give me 95th percentile on IP addresses that I have not previously configured. If I have a user that does a ton of traffic, unless he's already setup it won't give me 95th percentile. Just bandwidth total. Is there a way I can get this programatically?

We're running opmanager 10 with the netflow plugin but I can't get the netflow plugin to start. I've restart the opmanager service but the netflox page does not come up. How does one start the netflow plugin service? There is not a windows service for it

Should be simple...how to I push a file to the desktop for a group of users?
I have a shortcut I want to deploy to a group of people who all use the same software. I would like to place the file right on their desktop. That's all that has to happen. The program doesn't change at all, it's just the shortcut that needs to be deployed. I tried "shortcut" under configurations, but that wants me to select a program for it to create a shortcut for. PLEASE HELP!
Skype and Java Updating best practices
We have been using DC for a few months now and I am constantly running into issues with Skype and Java always been in use, therefore, the update can never apply. I'm assuming this is because Java and Skype open on boot by default, which causes them to always be running. Has anyone else dealt with this before? Should we tell our computers not to allow these programs to start on boot? Would this solve the issue?
Creating custom groups from inventory reports
Hi I would like to request a more advanced Custom Group feature, it would be nice if I could generate a report, for example a software report for all computers that have a Adobe Reader 9 installed, And then just mark all computers and create a group. Atm I have to export all computers to a csv file, then import in excel, then edit the document so it only contains computernames, add a coma to each and then copy it back into DC to make the group. Or am I missing something? Maybe there is an easier
Notifications triggered outside of time windows
Hello, I've setup opman to monitor one of my exe processes (under process monitors). On this server I have two notification profiles, one "business hours (8-17)" and one for "24/7". The business hours profile is setup to send alerts for the .exe, and the 24/7 profile is setup only for certain HW faults. Still, every morning (before 8) my .exe shows as down even though it is not set to be monitored untill 08:00. Is there somewhere else I need to configure monitoring time for the process monitors I

Steps to Migrate anyway from SMS & WSUS to Desktop Central 8

We are demoing Service Desk Plus. We are finding the search function limiting. Is it possible to search for exact phrases? Or is the search limited to one word only? We search by address a lot and are having problems. If I search for the address “907 N” it will return every request that has an “N” in it. Not just that phrase. Is it possible to search by: Exact phrase in quotes? For example “907 North” Or Any of the these words with an OR statement? For example: 907 OR North Thank
Ticket created from email looses formatting
I am having an issue with new tickets being created via email. we have some automated emails that get sent that use alot of html code to do formatting/etc but when servicdesk brings it in all that formatting is lost. Is there some setting somewhere that I missed or how can I go about fixing this? Thanks!

Logs folder on Agent
More of a general question. On the agent installed on workstations, how often is the logs folder cleared out? Looking at the one on my system and it contains over 331MB worth of log files.. Is there a routine or a configuration to run to clear this folder or does the server take care of this when it wants to :) Gil

Hi Guys, I'm trying to create a configuration from "Block EXE" template. I'm unable to make it work. In the Block EXE template, I'm making the following changes. sample1.exe to cmd.exe sample2.exe to calc.exe After log off/restart it shows executed and I can even see the values in registry but it's not working as expected. Though, I can make it work if I add registry settings by logging as Administrator. Please help me to deploy Block EXE successfully. Cheers.
Customize patch deployment/approval
Currently patches can be approved or rejected, but this applies to all machines in a domain. It would be useful to be able to deploy specific patches to specific machines or groups as well as exclude specific machines from specific patches. Right now, I have two machines that can't get a specific patch, so I have to exclude them from all automated patch management and patch them manually. Customization would also be useful so patches could be deployed to test machines or groups before they are deployed
Archive computer inventory?
I go through a multi-stage process with workstations that get decomissioned. First they are pulled from the network, and then eventually they are sold or discarded in some other fashion. Is there a way to exclude those machines from all scans in desktop central but maintain the computer in desktop central so I have its history until I'm ready to physically get rid of the machine?
