Robotechnician not reseting passwords

I tried these steps:

1) Under Admin -->> WindowsDomainScan, make sure you have provided the right credentials to reach the Domain controller. - tested this by making sure i could import user objects from AD successfully.

2) Under Admin-->> RoboTechnician you have configured the settings and set the status as "Enabled".
status is set to "enabled"



3) Make sure ROBO - PASSWORD_RESET template is selected when you are creating the Request.
verified that we're using the correct template.


4) Make sure the user selected under the Requesters name on the template is a member of Active Directory with the same  loginname and the Domain name in the ActiveDirectory.

Once all the above is verified and you click on "Add Request" on the Request template it should return the new password on the top of the Request if it was a success or display a failure message if it failed.


sometimes i receive a success message, but the user password did not change and the old password no longer works.

other times, i receive an error stating that it was unable to reset the password.

please advise.
