How to go about software deployment once you have installed agents?
Hi, I have installed DC on a server that I remotely access through my PC. I have the DC Agent installed on my PC and another PC. I would like to push down a software from the 'Templates' tab to both these PCs. After creating the package from the templates, it is saved in the software repository's designated folder in the server where I installed DC. How do I go about pushing down the software that is saved in the server, to both these PCs? Please help! Thank you!
Problem Deploying Adobe Shockwave Player
I have setup and deployed Adobe Shockwave Player v12.1.2.152 from the template in Desktop Central. So far no matter how I deploy the software all I am seeing is retry in progress. I have tried running the software from startup option and at the refresh interval. I have also tried deploying the software with the system user and with my domain administrator account. Any help on this problem will be greatly appreciated.
Cannot perform first login OpManager 11.2
Hi: I just downloaded OpManager 11.2 and installed it under Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop. I didn't install any other components. The ping requirement were met and it appears as though XFree86 is installed. The installation seems to have gone well but I cannot login through a web browser. It is stuck at the License Activation Details page. The browser is stuck in a waiting, loading from... loop. We've been registered users for almost a year now, renewal is coming up, and honestly, we're looking to see if SDP-MSP is a long term product for us. The price point is definitely attractive for what you get, however, our little IT company has more than doubled in the last 12 months, and (2 to 5 employees) and the extra business on the horizon is making dupicated processes even more burdensome. I can not delete the created value "Titles" and "Departments". Error - Removing Unsuccessfull. The values are currently in use! But the value is not used anywhere, I created it a few seconds ago. "Offices" and "Companies" - also can not remove the existing and new values. Super administrator rights, database MSSQL.

(This requested with respect to build 9003) Scenario: Only one ChangeManager is allowed to be assigned to a Change Record. Hello all, I have been tasked with setting up our SD+ implementation to allow for groups to be used to direct tickets to the proper techs. Here is what we have envisioned for this. All users submit tickets to support@company.com via the self-serve portal. They will be forced to provide some piece of information that will dictate what group it will go to via the Category field. Issue after upgrade OPManager build 11300
Hello, I upgraded my OPManager server with the latest build then I got the following issue: All WMI performance monitors stopped to work. I checked domain account and password, ok I switched to SNMP performance monitors, it is working. I removed WMI monitors and readded them with no good results, not working. Why can't users with SDAdmin roles edit change requests?
We're using SDP 9006. I'm in an SDAdmin role and need to make a change to a change request. Unless I've been added to one of the Change Roles in the actual request, as an outsider (but a SDP admin), I'm not able to make changes to a request. Is this by design or do we have something configured incorrectly? Thanks!
OpUtils Addin for OpManager Does Not Use Proper Community Name When Scanning
I have OpUtils addin as part of my OpManager. I'm at v11300 for OpManager, and IPAM andSPM Plugin v6. I have OpManger monitoring switches with no problem. OpUtils displays switch information and appears to operate. However, If I scan the switch, it fails and I receive "Switch is down - No response to SNMP queries". I can ping the switch. When I attempt a SNMP Ping, it fails. However, if I re-enter the community name to on the SNMP Ping screen, it successfully pings. It appears that OpUtils is not

Groups not to be allowed to assign to Technician
You do have an option in the Roles feature to not allow any tech to "assign a technician". By unchecking this option, what it really takes away is the ability for a technician to assign a ticket to both "a group" and "another technician within that group". By the title of that option I would have thought this would still allow the tech to assign a ticket to a group but just not a technician within that group. So you have an update coming or request yet on being able to offer either or of these options
windows 7 task bar shortcuts
Hi, We have set up a config to change Desktop Shorcuts & Start Menu Shortcuts but we also need to be able to change Task Bar Shortcuts. We have found that the shortcut resides in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar" but as far as I can tell there is no way to edit this in DesktopCentral. How should we go about this?
Stop backups from creating sub directories

Printers - Servicedesk Plus and Desktop Central
Hi I have both SDP and Desktop Central running (both latest versions) however I am a little unsure of how to import the network printers into SDP, not the process but which system to use. The method I used previously was to do a network scan on each IP range using SDP however I am a bit concerned that Desktop Central will also import printers into the system and in some way duplicate the devices. Does anyone have some advice on this please. Gary

The Mac OSX agent reports the incorrect computer Name. Configurations fully deploy but status is incorrect
I have been deploying configurations to multiple computers and single computers. Sometimes the Status will show "Executed", sometimes it shows "In Progress", and sometimes it will show "Ready to Execute", and sometimes it won't deploy at all to some computers even though the agent is live and healthy. Working with DC version 90023 as well as Agent 9.0.23W. I thought I read somewhere that the upgrade to this version was supposed to resolve this issue, but I am still experiencing it.
